im going to ask for a mini ipod for christmas, but which is better a regular ipod or a mini ipod and whats the differnce, and can i get a gift card thing to get songs at the itunes music thing online. and are they easy to use? becaus im not good with tech. things so im hoping its easy to use...please tell me anything you can about them.

It depends on your usage. If you will not sure more than 1000 songs, then get the mini to save the money and the size. You can always remove songs from your ipod, so if you only want to have 1000 songs at a time and a colorful music device go for the mini. I have a regular ipod and love it. I bought the 20gig, but I am only using 25% of it, and I've had it for a year. It is a much better buy for the size, but if you are not going to use more than 1000 songs, don't bother buying it.
