Hey, i'm Ash. I've have a hell of alot of opinions, so expect long answers. Uh, yeah, been through just about everything you can think of. Yeah, I'm the type to sing in the shower, and donate to the old and challenged. I have a Rubber-band phobia, I hate them, they scare me, the end. Hm, OH. you're not emo, emo is a genre of music, and you're not music. Yeah, one other thing, my music's better. :D Lmao.Uh...what to write, I give advice on everything..Hm, Like katelyn[XoPerfectRoseOx] said, If you ask a stupid question, expect a stupid answer. I would put little quotes and poems on here, but that's just another waste of my time.So TalkToYouLater...maybe. -Ash

I've had this problem for years. My parents and my sister always accuse me of talking too much and see nothing wrong with interrupting me in the middle or end of my sentences to tell me to shut up and that I talk too much. I respond by telling them that I was already done talking and that they should'nt assume I'm going to say more, and that it is rude to interrupt someone even if you don't care about what they are saying. At least if it's someone you care about, you should find a nicer way to tell them. They don't listen, they just keep telling me to be quiet when I try to tell them how I feel. I sometimes end up in tears, and then they tell me I'm being grumpy or silly. I'm 35 years old and I'm tired of being treated this way. How can I get them to listen? It's especially embarrassing when they do this in front of others, like my daughter, husband, other family and friends. I'm I partially to blame? Please help! (link)

Hey hun. I'm only 13 and have the same problem...except they interupt me without making an accusation. When they interupt you tell them you're also a part of teh family and yes, YOU HAVE A SAY. Tell them you could care less about their problems, and until you get some respect..you'd rather not talk to them..hope everything works out..

I agree with you up to a point. Yes, I do have a say. That's what freedom of speech is all about, right? But if I told them I could care less about their problems, I'd come off as selfish and I'm not. That is not respectful. If I want respect from them, I need to give it back in return. Besides, they are my family. Of course I care about them or I wouldn't be so hurt by the way they treat me.
