Well, there's this guy in one of my classes and I like him a lot. I've written him two notes now. The first one asked if he wanted to hang out the weekend of halloween with me and some friend and I gave it to him on a Tuesday. He never wrote me back so on Friday, I told him not to worry about writing me back because I guess he didn't want to hang out anyways. Well, then he told me that he didn't write me back because he was busy this weekend with some friends. Well, he started talking to me more since then. Last week I gave him another note saying that I didn't think he wanted to hang out with me or just be my friend or anything like that and he never wrote me back. I'm not sure what's going on, but since that note he talks to me a whole bunch and will just start random conversations with me. By the way he is very shy and doesn't talk too much, but now he talks to me a lot. I'm not sure what to think about all this. Do you think I should just confront him and tell him that obviously what I said in the note was true? Please give me some great advice! It would help a lot!
ur crazy! what's really happening is if he's shy, he probably likes you as a friend but your notes are a "guilt motivation" to speak to you. He feels guilty and that makes him get over his shyness so he talks to you. All I can say is you need to ask him "do I make you feel bad, and are my notes the ONLY reason why you speak to me? I like you as a friend, I was just curious..."
