I just want to say that I am always flattered and glad when someone rates me and leaves messages for me.It really makes me smile! But it bothers me how many people always put "rate me" on their answers. That's not what I'm here for. That's wonderful if you do rate me,and I thank you,but I'm here to help people, not to be out for the best rating. That's not to offend anyone, just letting you know what I'm about I guess!!Hehe ;)

I've been helping my dad with his banking. He passed away....I'm now his personal rep. We had a cash fund for him to use, when he went out to eat.

but I have no receipts...........will there be trouble, ( IRS) because there isn't any proof that the money not deposited in the bank ( cash fund) was used for him ???

Thank You

Worried

So long as it isn't an extremely sizeable amount(as in the thousands over a period of time),it wouldn't even be taxable. It's not income,or anything like that,so there should be no reason to even report the money.I would reccommend speaking with the lawyer who is handling your father's estate or will.He should be able to tell you all the specifics. But I don't see where it should even enter into anything!!
