Hey, My name is Megan, and i'm 15. I've always been treated pretty bad in school. I don't think i'm fat or ugly, but everyone calls me ugly. I don't know why they would say things to hurt me, and it makes me feel bad all the time, though I try to hide it. Today at lunch, someone gave me a joke love letter of someone I know asking me to homecomming. (The one who gave me the note hates me) When I opened it, a fry with ketchup on it fell on my white skirt, and ruined it. They all laughed it up, while a friend of mine yelled at them. I don't understand why people do the things they do to me, I try to ignore them, but you know, it hurts. I just wish people at my school would treat me like a human. I'm not mean to people, i'm nice. I don't talk about people I keep to myself...what is wrong with me? (link)
All that matters is what you think of yourself, and it seems as though you think OK thoughts. If you go around school being a victim, people will notice and pick on you more, if you have confidence and brush all the negativity off, people will start to realize it and leave you alone. Stick with the people who are nice and treat you with the respect you deserve. Believe me, in about 3 years when u get out of HS, it won't matter who your enemies are, just your true friends.
