Ok well i started wearing thongs in the 6th grade.. but it wasn't because everyone else was doing it.. i did it cuz i wanted to and i thought they were cool and i still do.. just a word of warning.. they can be as uncomfortable as they look lol.. but yah just tell ur grandma that tons of girls wear them and there's nothing wrong with it.. it's just so u can't see the panty line through pants.. tell her it's nothing sexual cuz i bet that's prolly what she'll think.. hope i helped
