i don't have a father figure in my life. my dad is a jerk..he tried like almost killing me before..and i don't see my step-dad as a father! do i need a father figure in my life? please help! i rate high!

Where is your Mother? You dont need a father figure in your life. But, that may cause you to be clingy or emotionally attached to any guy you may have a realationship with in the future. Find out about organazations in your area that provide "Fathers" for children like you. Maybe that will help. Good Luck!
