My really close friend that i have known since we were 6 is a cutter. She did it once and told me i talked with her and i thought we reached a point where she realized how bad it really was. She said she would stop because its stupid and hard to cover up. Just a few weeks ago i noticed not just the 2 singles cuts but about 15. It scares me because i love her and i know that cutting is horrible and solves nothing. I haven't gotten to many chances to talk one on one with her but when i do i get scared that she won't listen. I don't want to be a snitch and tell her parents but maybe that is the right thing to do. I'm so confused but i know something needs to be done before she really hurts herself by cutting to deep. I mean we are only 13 years old i really don't know why she is cutting herself. Please help me save my friend!
hm.. this is really sad and i`m so sorry that both yu and yur friend have to go through this.. and even if yu get scared and yu think it`s too hard, yu HAVE to talk to her.. go somewhere, sit down, and tell her that she has to listen to everything yu say.. tell her that it`s a horrible thing to do and if she doesn`t stop, yur going to have to tell someone.. tell her how yu feel inside! and how scared it makes yu that yu can loose yur best friend!! and make sure yu look her in the eye so she knows yur not kidding in any way!!! cutting is usually a sign of stress and depresion.. ask her if she`s okay! and try and have her talk to yu about it!! and then, wait a little while and watch her.. if yu see one more cut, yur going to have to tell someone.. she may say she hates yu or sumthing but it`ll only save her and someday, she will thank yu.. i`m so sorry and i hope i helped... tell me how it turns out!
(Rating: 5) Thanks i guess i just needed a little push to talk to her. It was nice having someone to talk to about my friend and i will tell u how it turns out... she is coming over sometime this weekend so i think it is a good time to talk one on one.
