ok me and my best friend have been best friends for about 2 years now. During the first year of our friendship she had a crush on this guy and ugly guy who she thinks is hot. On the last day of school that same year he asked her out and they have been going out for over a year. The next year it got worse. her boyfriend was nice to me at first but then he started to kick me and say mean things to me.Later on in the year i could start telling that my so called best friend was getting jealous of me because i had nicer clothes, more friends and had been asked out 6 times and had alot of people thinking i was hot while she was asked out once and only her boyfriend thought she was hot. She startes takeing his side over mine and would never stand up to me. When i started to hang out more and more with my neighbors she got even more jealous i started hanging out more with another friend and we are now best friends. she doesn't rly know about it yet. she keeps sending me letters and asking me over but she never calls me. i want to let her go and not be best friends w. her anymore b/c i can't be friends w. someone whos b/f hates me!!!

Okay, the boyfriend thing might be an issue, but if it is have her spend time with him when your not with her so you and him dont have to be around each other. If she is jealous then maybe it would help to include her, or do something that wouldn't make her jealous. Spend tme with her, call her, etc. so she doesn't feel left out and maybe her jealousy will go away.You shouldnt throw away a friendship just because you and her boyfriend don't get along, especially if she was a good friend!
