I am an 8th grader going into high school next year. I keep hearing about how the seniors always pick on the freshman and I don't want to get beat up! What should I do to stay away from the seniors? I'm 14/female if that makes any difference. (link)

aww..yeah everyone's scared of that- most of the time nothing really happens, people just make up stories to intimidate little ones and it looks like it's working ..i've heard them too but when you go to high school nothing really happens...beacuse no one really takes that much time out of their own life to bother little ones befcause they have other things to worry about..grades, teachers, parents, sports, clubs, girlfriends...it most likely wont happen..you won't get picked on as long as you stay cool and be yourself...don't try too hard, it's very noticeable and they WILL notice...have fun- enjoy high school..it's the best 4 years of your life =] make friends, keep them, don't talk behind peoples' backs...just enjoy everything =] good luck!! hope i helped
