I very much urge you to write a question for the users of this site. You should give as much detail as you are able and see what advice the people here might have. I will see to it that it is featured at the top of the site for all to see.
You are quite correct that if this woman comes to complete strangers with this spastic ball of obvious fabrications she has surely poisoned the child's mind against you. :-( For that I am truly sorry. Please formulate a question and I will answer it with my complete thoughts on it. Take your time.
