I was always afraid I would have to be super witty or clever, but after what you wrote here I just talked to him about normal things I thought he would be interested in and it worked we are going out now thanks to you! :-)

They say many people in theater were/are shy, so you're being a theater person also really helps. I would really like to Thank you for your advice. Your suggestions sound like advice I would like to try. I am going to call one of the cast members, and ask them for dinner to just chat. The people in the theater group are very kind, I just have to "be a friend" to get some friends. THANK YOU.
