After thinking it through, I would have been no better off financially. It made no sense to move and start a new job with a small raise when I don't have to. They made it seem they wanted to negotiate, but they were quick to move on when I made my proposal. It is for the best.

Thanks for your feedback. I just feel really bad about not wanting her to move with me. If she doesn't move with me then she has nowhere to go. If we leave my brother will stay in the apartment we live in now with his girlfriend but I know he wants to live by himself also. Its just hard. I fell like ill be carrying dead weight

But I have called the number on the back of my card and its the same dentist that dont take my insurance. I'd called around first, then called the number on my card as a last resort. But I'll have to call my case worker in the morning

Thanks. I like your focus on giving him tasks outside the home and I think I'll try that. I'm not really a neat freak, so I doubt my standards are too tough to meet, but I might be overestimating just how inexperienced he is at cleaning. Trying to find a project he can be the expert on would probably work well for him.

I would like to thank you so much for you advice, it helped me see some things in a new light. My family and I are from Africa and we (African people) are good at hidding things. The situation I'm in is quite difficult because in my culture, we don't believe in boyfriend and girlfriend and that's why it's a lot harder for me to tell my parents about my relationship.
