I have a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Psychology from Northwestern University. I finished medical school and completed my M.D. at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. I am currently in my residency for surgery- hopefully to be specializing in neurosurgery.
I want to answer questions on medical type questions. I'm a big fan of Dr. Drew Pinsky on Love Line and would like to help younger people from the mistakes I see a lot of young people do when they come into my ER.

To answer your questions:
1. Not breast feeding. My little one is lactose intolerant, and after my big little one was born, my milk never came in. OB thought due to the BP issues.
2. I haven't noticed any changes, though I have to say I do feel like I have moments where I feel very hot.
3. I'm very overweight- 5'7", 270 lbs.
I'm not tired, but not excessively. The babies keep me on my toes, and often wore by day's end.
I haven't experienced shortness of breath.
I do, however, have vision changes typically followed by headache. The vision changes are like someone lit a camera flash in my eyes. It's not often this happens, but has happened periodically since my first pregnancy, but never before then.
I live near Topeka, KS.

I'm having the tests done in a month or so, and then the surgery in August.
I was just worried since I've never had surgery before, or been under anesthetics.

thank you, i did go to my doctor, and it was infected, but she said i cought it early, before it was, like, overly infected? idk, anyways, she drained it and gave me antibiotics. so, thankyou.

You are one of the only people responding that mentioned sorrow for my children. Unfortunatley at 37 you begin to think of dating the next time around more like, "forget it, it isn't worth it and it isn't worth the possibility of putting myself through this again, with kids at stake," Yea, I am glad the divorce wasn't there, that would have been worse, but 3 years of memories, pictures, what the hell do you do with those? I love my kids more than anything, so I will wait for the coming years and look forward to their accomplishments. I just wished one person could have said, 2 days, then they would have been gone a long time ago. There is more to life than just a companion, as you stated, kiss my kids, they are healthy. I know all this, I do all this, I say all this, I pray to replace all the sadness with happiness, and each day comes another day of tears, while I sit down and wonder if I even mattered. That is where I think most women's tears come frome when it is all over, did you matter? Did I matter?
