please help, i have a lump in my boob and im 10
Hey, I'm 16 and when I was round about the same age as you i found a lump in my breast. I didn't say anything till my brother mentioned himself feeling one. She took me to the doctors just to make sure it was safe and I was told it was a breast bud. Which would go away by itself. Sometimes it can be fairly painful other times you wont notice it. Its highly unlikely at your age to get breast cancer so don't be so scared, just go to your mum and tell her about it she'll take you straight to the doctors to get checked out. i'm 18/f, weighing about 106 pounds. i'm 5'6" and have a BMI of 17.1. needless to say, i'm underweight. i want to have a child someday soon, my boyfriend and i are moving in together at the end of the summer. (we'll be done with highschool and we are both employed, if you're wondering) i'm beginning to think my lack of body fat and low nutrition may foil my chances to carry a baby. i took a test and i'm fertile enough, i just don't believe my body is strong enough.
the problem with this is, i eat EVERYTHING. what i want, when i want. no matter the calories, it doesn't affect my weight. does anyone know a good way to gain a few extra pounds? i wouldn't know what else to do except eat, but that doesn't do anything. thanks
My brother has the exact same problem! He eats everything and never gains a pound. He too is underweight. I think the best thing to do is for a couple of weeks get a "balanced diet plan" which basically means eat breakfast, lunch and then dinner and try eat it around about the same time everyday. Eating anything and everything with high calories in will unbelievably do nothing. Make fairly healthy meals for a couple of weeks and see if you gain any pounds if you do then keep it up and you'll see that it'll become easier and easier as the weeks go by. But if there's still no change then it would be best to see a nutritionist to get a meal plan developed and they'll try and figure out exactly why your not putting anything on. Hope this helps!xx
I would like to know if, like my period started Janusry 7 and it stoped January 13 and it is now January 29 and i am getting it back again. Does this mean it going to come for the next 6 days?
And, Whenn i first got it, it was really heavey! Does this mean now when i get today it will go from heavy to light again? Or will it be different?
Well im guessing youve only just recently started your period? and no one can really say how long you'll get it for but you'll most probably get it for another 6 days. While your body is still developing your period will be irregular up until about 16-18 your body will start to slow down on the growing up part and your period will begin to follow a normal pattern through out life. When i first started my period it was for 10 days! But it was light. And i've been quite light since but now and then it will be heavy. The bloodflow of your period could possible just take on the same flow from when you first started and possibly get lighter as you get more periods. But if it is too heavy and your struggling with it and having problems talk to your gp and they can help you out :) Hope this helps!!xx

There't not really any kind of t.v shows for people your age. But try get yourself involved in a talent competition nearby or become a youtube sensation! This way you can create a small or big fan base and collaborate with other you tube singers. Hope this helps!!xx

everytime i try to shave "down there" i can never get a clean look without bleeding or a lot of ingrown hairs! what are the EXACT steps/products i should use to shave. please be very specific!!!!
For health and safety sake you need to use a fresh razor for shaving. Blunt razor blades can cause serious injury. Snip long pubic hair short. Think of this task like as if mowing the lawn. Long grass has to be taken down with a scythe so the mower blades do not jam, snag and stiffen. Sharp scissors, clippers or an electric razor will do the heavy work.
Do not rush; speed can cause shaving nicks and cuts. Once the hair is shortened, soak the genital area in warm water or use a damp warm cloth to place over the area and leave for 15 minutes. This helps soften any thick masses. Now lather the pubic area with shaving foam or gel. This helps the razor glide more easily. At any time if you need more lubrication apply more cream or gel. It is to your advantage that the shaving cream/gel is clear or lathers little so you can see what you are doing. Do not attempt to dry-shave, it is not safe and can cause skin scouring.
To avoid ingrown hairs, shave in the same direction that the hair grows. Do not repeat shaving over the same spot you do not want to scrape the skin. Taut the skin, it will help reach those difficult areas. Once the pubic hair has been shaved and rinsed, gently exfoliate with a flannel lathered with mild gentle soap to cleanse the pores. Once again choose the right soap. Particular cleansers contain ingredients that cause irritation. Some fragranced soap is not suitable. Apply moisturizer containing Vitamin E. Try rubbing an ice cube over the skin you shaved to close up the pores and then pat the area dry with a clean towel. Follow this with an astringent formula that contains salicylic acid to prevent ingrown hairs. Hope this helps!!xx

Personally being 16 i can understand your situation. But i can also understand that you a bit young. There is a four year difference but sometimes thats not so bad. Well from what i've read here it seems like you both kinda like each other, but if your brother finds out it might be all too weird which could be one reason why this guy does nothing or holds back. Theres not really any other way to get a guy to tell you if he loves you or not unless you ask. I get that your shy so maybe when your having one of your talks again trying saying it in a jokey way like if he wants to do something for you say oo you love me :P, that kind of thing. But there's no two ways about it. You just have to be brave and ask him the question. Don't be scared of being hit down because to be honest that will happen a lot to every one of us, boy or girl, popular or unpopular. Try to get his number if you can or email, start little conversations and then get onto the topic of love and ask him then. How can I make my teeth whiter? Without whitening strips? Is there a paste I can make or something?
I know of some kind of past although it might not taste too nice. Make a paste of few drops of lemon juice and a pinch of common baking soda. Apply this to your teeth and massage gently as if brushing. This helps to remove the stain from the teeth.There are other ways for example brush your teeth with regular toothpaste, then get a white wash cloth and pour some extra virgin olive oil and scrub your teeth for incredible results. OR Rub your teeth with the inside of orange peels. Orange peels have a mild compound that has been shown to whiten teeth which removes stains from teeth without damaging the enamel Hope this helps!!xx

Just joing the whole i love you thing up with compliments. I do it all the time. Like i love you baby your so cute :). Or find alternate ways to say i love you like coming up with things you like about her. Coming up with little love quotes or sending her poems which relate to how much you love her. You sound like a sweet boy, so just do a bit more research on poems and stuff like that. I also find that saying sweet romantic things in a different language works too :) like i love you in french is je t'aime, in spanish it's te amo. just little things like that :) hope this helps!!xx

Like, i look around and see all these people that are so happy, and im not. and they're so proud of themselves over everyhing and im not. especially these; theyr all skinny, and pretty .. and im not. and everyones in a relationship..and im not. i get so sad about it! i feel like a loser!
I don't think you feeling insecure so to speak. But I think you really want to be in a relationship so you can have that happines they have and somebody to show off. I'm sure you have done a lot of things in your life to be proud of so you shouldn't worry all too much. Don't be so hard on yourself about your looks or about anything in your life because then you'll forever be down because the media make us believe that skinny= pretty. But thats not the case. What you need to do is just be happy with the life you have right now because you have a lot of things that others don't. Use your confidence to your advantage. I think it could have something to do with a lack of water in your system maybe. Try drinking a few cups of water every day and if your problem still persists it would be best to see a doctor to rule any possible infection out. Im sixteen..i have a huge dream of making it big in acting! Ive been serious about this for 6 years,its all i want to do. I literally cant imagine myself doing anything else. Demi.L..SelenaG..Mileycyrus.. Are my idols! I always watch disney channel imagining myself there! its my only dream.But Most people,,even my family! Say that im too old! Am i ? is sixteen really that old to do acting? Like this sounds sad! But its true, i cant even watch tv/disney channel without crying. i just literally watching sonny with a chance, or hannah montana or wizards, and i just begin crying because III wanna be in that position. You can never be too old. Your only 16 and this is quite young i think your family are only trying to protect you because of you being so young and the acting industry being so difficult to get into that maybe rejectiong could be too much for you. You could do something like theatre studies at your age or drama or something like that it would also be good for you to study english to give you some good ideas on plays and stuff! Put up videos on youtube, make some contacts and try and get yourself into acting classes or drama clubs to help you get that lil bit closer to ur dream. Hope this helps!!xx

This may not necessarily mean that you are pregnant, the best way to know if youre pregnant is to take a test. You can't rely on pain in your breasts for you to know if your pregnant. My boss is more then 50yrs old and lives with his parents. He does not have a lot of social skills. I have caught him following me around the office and looking at what I am doing, like what mail I put in the outbox or who am I talking with or where I am going in general. His behavior is creepying me out. I can do my job without even talking or speaking with him for weeks and have tried to stay out of his way to see what would happen and it seems this makes his behavior worsen. I find it creepy to come out of the women's restroom to find him leaning against the wall near the men's waiting for me. He then joins me and walks back with me into the office. He watches my emails through the network server (only mine as he moved my and his email to a separate server from everyone else) and watches the websites I go onto and programs I access.
What is the best way to handle this guy? If I tell him to back off, he tells me I am paranoid. And yet this continues.
This is most definately a form of harassment and you need to tell somebody about it and bring it to attention to somebody who can help. Possibly report it to the police because he's following your every move and he could be stalking you so I think it would be best to report him to the police because this is unacceptable behaviour. With shy boys you really have to get them out of their shell by talking to them a lot. Arranging to meet up so things aren't so awkward in social situations. Because of your prom and his shyness I doubt he'll be able to ask you to go out but how about you do it instead? You don't have to ask him outright if you don't want to because I get how weird you might think that could be. You could just start talking to him and bring up the idea of prom like hey prom is soon you going with anybody? if he says no you can say me too! and then just possibly coax him into the idea of going with you because you know each others so it's not awkward and hopefully you guys can move on from there.
