ok so I've been friends with this girl for 2 and a half years and we're really close and I've liked her for about that long too I've waited for my chance but everytime I would try someone would beat my to the punch and the same thing would happen everytime they'd end up cheating on her she always dates older guys which I think is stupid because they're more likely to cheat really anyways well she's been dating this one guy for about a year now and back in november they broke up and so and I told her how I felt about her but she was still unsure because she still had feelings for her ex so then about 3 weeks later they're back together and I was sad I didn't talk to her for about 7 months because I never saw but then finally I got to see her and surprisingly she was more friendlier than usual she gave me more attention than usual we run cross country together and she always wants me to run with her and one she texted me which she never does and then one she IMed me which she never does so I'm wondering did she miss me does hse have feelings for me o and she's still with that guy though too but is she finally starting to like me?
(cont. part)
so yea I just found it that the girl that I really like who is also my friend had broken up with her boyfriend 2 weeks ago but my friend doesn't know why it just happened so how long should I wait to start 'talking' to her? and did she do it because she has feelings for me
I know how you feel, the same thing has happened to me plenty of times. The most I can say is to just straight out ask her. Being up front is always the best. If she really is your friend and cares about you she won't mind you telling her. I would say you should always wait at least 4 days after a break up. Don't ask her out though... she might not be ready after a breakup. Just let her know how you feel. If she doesn't like you at least you know. Wondering is worse...
