Hello. I've been given the task of designing my school's yearbook, and since it'll be distributed as CDs, I've decided to present the yearbook content via HTML. Main content will be text in the form of articles, profiles, and photo galleries.
Now, the question; what would you consider the best resolution to design for, and would it be better to use a table-designed or CSS-designed layout? -- I don't know much about CSS, and there are time restraints to consider, but I'm willing to learn it if it means more flexibility. Any layout would be simple, but I also want it to look fairly consistent across all computers. I can't really ask people what their screen resolution is, because most people wouldn't know what it is. So... can anybody suggest a default resolution to design to? Offer any tips?

You should do a table design, it would probably look more neat and easier for navigation. About the screen resolution, i would say 1024x786..most screens browsers are orginally that size.

me and my bf have been together for 3yrs 5moths and 12days. hes the best thing that ever happen to me in my entire life i mean i can talk to him about anythin i trust him with my life. only thing is recently he has been havin some family issues. theres this whole divorce thing with him parents goin on and his dad is ( excuse my lang) but hes an asshole. just a complete asshole. well his dad did some stuff to his mom and my bf is kinda hurt by that but i think he has mixed emotions. hes mad sad all that then my brothers dont make things anybetter because they act like they want to kill him ( because i have over protective bros) i want to help him out with his rents and everythin because i know he would do the same for me and i want to get my brothers off his ass.. Tell your brother to also stop being assholes, tell them about his problem..tell them to stop being harsh at the worst time possible. Ask your boyfriend if hes okay with talking to his parents about hwo he feels about the divorce, let them sit down and let them hear what he has to say, if he doesn't want to, you can talk to him..let him share his feelings with you.
