What foods or some drinks(no meds) will make me poop a lot (link)
I poop as much as 1-2 times a day or as little as every other day, since going vegan. It also takes me longer to pee than poop.

Go high carb, low fat, whole foods, plant-based VEGAN! It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. I went vegan this year and have lost 40 pounds, with minimal exercise, and eating AS MUCH as I desire bringing down my BMI from 30 to 24. I weigh less now than I did throughout high school, as an overweight teenager, even when I exercised for hours while on Junior Varsity and Varsity sports teams. I went to my annual physical earlier this month, and even my doctor was in shock.

My goal for next year is to lose 30-40 more pounds, I just need to start exercising on a regular basis. Nothing crazy, just 30-60 minutes of jogging, Ballet Beautiful, bike riding.. things like that.

I think it's amazing what I've accomplished so far, just by changing my diet, though. It's a lot easier to go vegan than it seems. I was never vegetarian, I went from being able to eat an entire box of pizza or entire tub of ice cream in one sitting to a full-fledged vegan. I now spend a lot less money on groceries, have more energy (never need caffeine, and never feel lethargic like I used to on a regular basis), have more concentration, am learning to cook, and etc. Try it for a week, that's how I started, and I felt so good that I just kept going, and it's now been 5 months! You can get every nutrient from plant foods, including protein!

The only vitamin you need to supplement is B12, and one I personally recommend is Garden of Life's B12 spray (cause I personally hate swallowing pills, and methylcobalamin is better than cyanocobalamin). You can buy it at any health foods store (Whole Foods, Sprouts, Trader Joe's, etc.), or online.

i recently gained about 10-15 pounds. i started a diet 06/23
i restrict my calorie intake to 1,000 or lower. usually lower.

and i walk A LOT,and if i havnt walked a lot that day ill do the treadmill for 35-40 min. i also do at least 5o crunches a night, every night.

when should i see results? it is now 06/28
and i know a lot of time hasnt passed but i am so desperate for results.

i am use to starvation diets where you see results really fast. this is the first time i am not doing a starvation diet.

thank you!

If you want long-term results you have to change your lifestyle.

I am 19/f. 5'7" tall and currently about 140-145 lbs.

I think have developed a negative relationship with food. I feel like food is taking control of my lifestyle because I overeat a lot. I pretty much always have access to junk food, and when I don't, I seek it out.

And I am ashamed to binge in front of people, with some exceptions: like I've talked to my boyfriend about this problem with food, and he's one of the people that I will eat moderate amounts of junk food in the presence of.

I'm very conscious of what I am eating though, and I've never finished an entire bag or box of anything before. I do deprive myself of certain things because I'm terrified of becoming bigger than I am.

I mostly overeat when I'm sad about something, or stressed about relationships, my job or school, and especially when I'm alone.

I try to counteract the food I consume with exercise, but I'm afraid to give up my habit of eating. It comforts me and makes me feel happy...but I always feel bad afterwards, so that's the only reason I feel like it's taking control of my life.

I think my problem stems from a desire of wanting to be skinny and fit, but I'm not in shape, and it's because I keep eating for comfort.

I've always liked junk food, but I recently was thinking that the bingeing became worse when I fractured my jaw this past winter and I had to go on a liquid diet for a month. So I couldn't chew ANYTHING that whole time, and I had to resort to things like milkshakes to satisfy my cravings for junk food. But ever since the liquid diet ended and my jaw healed, I've been overeating more and more, and I feel like it's because I was deprived from coping by physically chewing and eating for so many days.

I have researched binge eating disorder and I got really upset reading about it because I feel like I have many of the symptoms.

My boyfriend thinks I should talk to my doctor and possibly look into therapy. He also thinks I am depressed and use food to cope with whatever problems or depression I am experiencing.

I've also talked to my mom about my issues with food, and she thinks there's nothing wrong with me and that it's all in my head. She thinks that I have normal eating habits and says that everybody overeats once in a while, and that therapy would be unnecessary.

I don't know whose side I'm on about this. I've never looked into therapy for this because I do agree with my mom when she says that it's all in my head, and I don't really have or want to have a problem. She disagrees with my boyfriend's thought that I'm depressed. She thinks I'm perfectly fine.

What do you think? Should I seek therapy or is this not really a problem? (link)

i read an article online where a woman cut her calories.
she ate like a person of the goal weight she wanted ate (that amount of calories)
for example if she wanted to weigh 115lbs shed consume as many calories it takes for someone at 115 lbc to maintain that weight.

she lost 26lbs in 1 month doing this. with little to no exercise really.
is this truly possible? i want to loose that amount as well.
she lost 15 in 2 weeks.

how is this physicaly possible?

could i get the same results?

im 121 lbc 5'1 and i want to be 108lbs (which is my normal weight. i recently gained 12 lbc on a vacation and cannot loose it) (link)

I'm M/16. I think I'm becoming very unhealthy. This summer I have been eating like a pig, lots of bacon, hot dogs, lots of burgers. I've also been eating a lot of McDonalds. Not every day though, every couple of days. I don't like going out to stay in shape because its way too hot. I usually go for long bike rides. Once a month I go for long jogs, last month I did 12 laps without stopping & this month I did 20. But I've definitely gained weight this summer and I want to go back to school in shape. Are there any quick ways to lose about 5 lbs.? Any type of work outs that don't require a machine? I don't know much about working out and calorie stuff. (link)

I now spend a lot less money on groceries, have more energy (never need caffeine, and never feel lethargic like I used to on a regular basis), have more concentration, am learning to cook, and etc. Try it for a week, that's how I started, and I felt so good that I just kept going, and it's now been 5 months!

I want to lose 20 pounds but every time I try I cheat on my diet. This summer I kept cheating and telling myself that Id just start my diet over the next day, but when the next day came I always ruined my diet. People around me are always eating junk and when I see it I have to have it and I over eat. How can I stop craving junk food? (link)

Im a 14 year old girl, going on 15. I've been struggling with my wieght, a lot lately. I was always tall, and was told not to worry about my weight. Well Im 5foot 6, and about done growing. I get constantly reminded to watch my weight now. Sometimes, I think I can't stop eating. I sneak food all the time. I hide it in my drawers, and backpack. When no ones home I eat a bunch of unhealthy food. I heard this is called a binge eating disorder. I told my mom what I do, and she doesn't believe it. Im going into highshchool, it's a major turning point in my life, and I want to be able to be healthy and in shape. I put myself down all the time. I have tried everything. Starving myslef, puking it back up, dieting, reading columns online. Nothing is working. I am not a big excerciser, so that doesn't really help me out. Im just fed up with it, and no one understands. Im not trying to be super skinny, I would just like to be able to control my eating habits, and loose a couple pounds, and not be addcted to eating food. I seriously have no idea what to do, I beat my self up mentally about this issue all the time. I can't control it. I need help. (link)

i'm a pretty healthy weight for my age, 126 for a 16/f; though, i really hate certain parts of my body. around my hips and the tops of my legs i have some buldge i'm really uncomfortable about.
although i was raised doing low key activities, as i got into highschool i've been trying to get involved in physical activities like sports and whatnot. i don't belong to a sport regulary so it's hard for me to work out.
i wouldn't be resorting to this if i could go to a gym and whatnot.
lately i've been subjecting myself to anorexic habits out of hate for my body and jealousy to my more attractive peers.
my problem is that thanks to medication for ADHD, i can handle not eating during the day, but when it wears off in the evening and during weekends when i don't take it i can tend to binge. which is really like a sucky thing to happen if i'm going through the stress of dieting. i wanna know how to control this and balance it out.
also, i do run a ocuple times a week and do workouts on my stairs.
skdfj;askljf anyway, any tips to healthy dieting that will give me quick results? hopefully i can get some good answers based off fasting and not regular eating.
thaaanks. (link)

Hey there I am a young adult, I have been vegetarian for two years, I love animals and I really support the movement. Well I started getting sick all the time and I always felt week and tired, I went to my doctor and he told me it's probably because I don't get the protein and amino acids I need. I started eating these special meals for vegetarians which were kind of expensive. Well those didn't help even though I ate them for 3 months and started eating a lot of rice and beans. Nothing really helped, so after a long time of debating I broke my fast and ate meat, I felt really guilty and felt sick for the first day or two, throwing up and stomach pains. well now I am fine and I seem to have more energy and I am starting to get my muscles back. I really want to continue to be vegetarian, I know I can't undo eating meat, but I feel so guilty, every time I eat meat I think of the animal. I know it for my well being, but is there anyone that knows vegetarian alternatives that can help and won't make me unhealthy? I was so proud that I was supporting something and standing up for things I believe in. I feel lousy for going back on my personal morals. If I could find a proper effective diet with alternatives where I basically wouldn't starve it would be nice.

Ok so like I haven't pooped in like.....4 days....is that normal and when does it become NOT good. Is that when you haven't in 8 days or something. Just curious. I know this is totally TMI and everything but uh...I usually poop 4 days apart. I just wanted to know. (link)
You're constipated. Ever since going vegan I'm never constipated and easily poop as much as 1-2 times a everyday, or every other day. IT even takes me longer to pee than poop.

I am having the hardest time losing weight in my stomach. I eat pretty well (recently I've been really good about eating...very few carbs, a lot of fruits and vegetables). I am fairly think everywhere else (not very toned...but thin). I hate workign out...i occasionally run but i hate it so its rare. however- my stomach is huge. its fatty, and i have rolls- its awful.

what can I do to fix this- and fast!

Thanks so much! (link)

Whenever i'm on a diet i break it at one point of the day, like when i get home from school i can't keep myself from going to the fridge. I'll go on a diet for 4 days, eat healthy and everything then the next day I ruin it. I do also have healthy food in my house but my parents buy junk food for everyone in the house because they arent on a diet. I exercise and if I try to eat a little piece of something sweet instead of the whole thing i'll end up eating the whole thing

and whenever i eat a bit of something i end up eating loads of it until i feel guilty
how can i stop craving food so much?
are there any foods that can help? (link)

Lately, my poop has been weird. I feel gross talking about it but at this point, I want to know what's up. Basically, I'll poop once, and I know that I have more and I try to poop again, but it won't come out and I feel like it is still up there. I wipe a LOT to make sure it's clean, but then all day I can just feel like something is up there. I don't know what's wrong! I poop when I wake up, usually, and even then I've been having this problem. I pooped a few times in school, and I had the same problem. It's starting to get extremely annoying. What could it be? Help! I used to poop only once, and it all came out and I would wipe and feel great. But now I feel like it's not all coming out and I don't feel light and good when I poop. (link)
You're constipated. Ever since going vegan, I'm never constipated.
