I don't know what to wear for the first day of school. I don't really have a great sence of style and i was wondering if you could help me. My hair is brown and eye brown and i am 5'2. Got any good styles for that???

I think a skirt and a fancy top would look nice! with some matching shoes!

I'm 14/f. Yesterday I found out that one of my closest guy friends likes me in a romantic sense. Let's call him "Jordan." He has liked me for possibly a year. We have been friends since we were 2 years old. I have just recently, a month ago, started liking him in a romantic sense. My problem is that I did like another guy let's call him "Dave" for a year and a half. I fell hard for him. I only saw him once over the summer. I have since stopped liking Dave as much as I used to. Possibly because I haven't seen him, and possibly because I have just gotten over him. I don't like Jordan as much as I used to like Dave. Jordan asked me out and I am afraid to say yes in the event that I see Dave and fall head over heels for him again. I like the friendship that me and Jordan share. I don't want any awkwardness between us. I get EXTREMELY nervous around guys that like me. What should I do? Should I go out with Jordan and hope for the best? Or should I say I want to stay friends? I feel that knowing that we like each other is enough and that it also leaves the possibility open to dating and a relationship. I should also mention that I have never had a real boyfriend before. Sorry this is so long, but I could really use some good advice.

ok well I've been in this situation before..and what I did was wait for "Dave" but then I realized that I would never get a chance with "Dave" so I was hurt because by the time I realized "Dave" wasn't interested "Jordan" was already with someone else...so take a chance with "Jordan" no matter what your friendship will always be close! but if you find out that "Dave" is interested take a chance with "Dave" I hope this works..

Well.. last night I was over at my friend caitlin's house and we got bored so we walked around the corner and met up with some friends(rachel,chrus,anthony,katie) and we were hangin out talkin and what not.. and then we decided to walk back to rachels house.. so we're walkin and talkin and I'm a smart ass.. and someone said somethin stupid so i made a remark about it.. ya know? but chris stares at me and laughs.. like nto staring bad way.. just staring.. but yeah.. then we're back at rachels and chris wanted to swim so he strips down to his boxers and jumps in.. hah it was cute.. but anywhos.. the whole time when we're all sittin out there talkin I would look over and catch chris lookin at me.. I mean it feels like there's somethin there.. but I don't know.. I mean.. he's an awesome kid.. I'd like for there to be somethin there but I don't know.. I mean he's a grade younger than me.. but he's not immature and sldflk I don't know.. I wanna get to know him better to see if there is something there and everything.. but he's not one of the people that I hang out with all the time.. so what do i do?

I think you should start hanging out with him more..see if there is something...he obviously thinks your cute if you catch him staring! So hang out with him..maybe you guys will start something..so what if hes in a younger grade! I dated people in younger grades I dont think theres anything wrong with it! and if other people have problems with it thats their fault! hope this helps!

Ok this guy i really liked danced with me in slow and fast songs at a dance we had. I then found pout that i really like him but it was summer the next day ans schol was out so i have been thinking about im all summer. but i don't know if he likes me or not plz help me.

you should talk to him...tell him how you feel...but if your to shy to talk to him write him a note or ask one of your friends too..I think that you would have a better chance if you talked to him tho because guys dont always like the shy girls...just tell him everything you just said..that you have been thining about him all summer and that I was wondering if you liked me too? Hey I have to get braces in about a month and Im really scared cause I cant imagine having metal on my teeth lol. I just wanted to know from 1-10 how bad it hurts and how long about do people have them on?

I have braces...they aren't really that bad! when you get them on its like a 3 outa 10 of pain..you just get this sour taste in your mouth..you usally keep them on for a year or two..also a lot of people have them so its not a real big deal when you first get them on to people...hope that helps!

I think you should talk to one of your friends mom and get them to help you..calling the police or CYS or something like that could get her really mad and make her do something crazy...maybe talking to a friends mom without your mom knowing could help by them trying to talk to her or by them calling the police or CYS well if that doesn't work then e-mail me and I'll try to give you different advice...=( I'm sorry you have to go threw that...hope this helps!

Hey Pat. I need some advice and you seem like you like helping people out so here i go:

I'm a sophomore and ever since last year, I have liked this guy in my high school and he has liked me back. However, this guy is a player. He goes out with many girls at the same time. He gets over all of them, yet he's never been able to get over me. He always asks me out and I always refuse him. Who would want to go out with a player and get hurt? He promises me that he'll change. Sadly, I caught him making out with another girl the day after. I was devastated. I sent him a letter that told him how I felt. In it I told him how stupid I felt for liking and caring so much about him for such a long time. I also told him I was sick of lies and false promises. I ended it by saying "don't write back or talk to me anymore...leave me alone, you've hurt me enough." I should feel better now that it's over, but I don't. The thought that he'll never talk to me again makes me sad. Even though he's broken my heart and played me from the very start, I can't help but keep liking him. Should I talk to him again? Should I keep trying to make "us" work out? Please let me know your honest answer.

I think you should give him a chance..if he can't get over you then you might be the special one he stays with! but if he starts acting weird or different dump him before he can dump you!

aww I'm sorry! Have you tried talking to your mom about it? maybe talking to someone about it could help cheer you up! Or just try doing something with one of your friends to keep it off your mind! hope this helps!

I think that you should go..if she brings her friends then there shouldn't be a problem with him bringing one of his..if you guys are just friends then it should be fine but if theres flirting going on between you too I dont think it would be that good of an idead! hope this helps!
