I am a single monthe of three children. My daughter is 6 and my twin boys are 4. I have been through hell and back in the last 8 years with my children's father , but now my children and I are in a good place in our heads. For all mothers out there single or not you have the hardest job that you will ever have in your life. It's hard and frustrating at times but it's well worth it.

ok so i wanna start by saying that i would NEVER cheat on my boyfriend.
ok dont get me wrong i like my boyfriend a TON,like i makeout with him and would do anything for him.
but sometimes i get the feeling like he doesnt like me even tho he says he does.
and sometimes he treats me like im stupid.
i didnt realize this until one of my best friends pointed it out.he told me that he really likes me and is always telling em how lucky my boyfriend is.
i hangout with him at him house and we have SO much fun,its almost like were going out already.
but i havent done ANYTHING to cheat on my boyfriend.
my question is,should i breakup with my bf for my best friend who would treat me better,or stick with my super hott amazing boyfriend that i could try to fix things with? (link)

First of all I wanna say you cannot change anybody. Trust me I know, 7 years and 3 kids later. Don't learn the hard way. I'm assuming you are young cause you said you like to make out not have sex, good girl. You didn't say how your boyfriend treats you like your stupid? Could your best friend just be jealous? or does he really treat you bad? If he is treating you bad, get out now. As far as your best friend, that could be a lil wierd, since you two are best friends, do you wnat to risk losing that if and when you break up? You will have PLENTY of boyfriends in your life do not settle for someone who does not treat you like a princess.

Okay so my 18th birthday is coming up in August and I want to throw an awesome party. I'm inviting somewhere between 20 and 30 people. I want to have something fun, but mature. I just can't figure out what to do at the party. There will be mostly girls (only 5 or so guys). We are all 16 to 18. I'm having it at my house outside. I live in Louisiana so its gonna be like at least 95 to 100 degrees outside. What are somethings I can do at my party that do not involve drinking, making out, or anything like that? (link)

To be 18 again. I would say you need something water related since it will be so hot. Do you have a pool? You can get a slip and slide, I know it sounds corny but remember how much fun they were? You could also get one of those inflatable pools, they are relatively cheap (I don't know your budget) and your family could use that even after your party. I would suggest a b-b-q, so much fun in the summer. You could make mocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and put them in fancy martini glasses. Most people have at least one friend or a friend of a friend who wants to be a dj, if you can't find anyone the stereo and cd's work just fine. Don't worry too much about planning everything out down to a science. Usually at parties most people find a way to have fun and it goes just fine. And congrats on turning 18 :-)

my boyfriend and i are thinking about having sex for the first time in the near future. i don't really have access to getting birth control because my mom would flip out and i don't have anyone who could take me to a health center type thing to get some.
my question is, is a condom effective enough to use without me being on birth control. will it be safe?? and is it true that there is only a 2% chance of getting pregnant with a condom? (link)

Some schools offer birth control in their nurses offices. You do not always need an adult with you at a birth control health clinic. See if you can get a friend to take you. I don't know how old you and your boyfriend are but he needs to help out if he wants some.As far as birth control, I had 3 kids when I was using the pill. When I was using nothing I had 2 miscarriages, I get on the pill and have a lil girl, then I had twin boys before my daughter was even 2. There are a lot of factors that make the pill lose its effectiveness, do you smoke? are you overweight, even just 10 pounds over the reccomended weight for your height? These are factors that make the pill less effective. If you do get birth control use a condom also. He could also pull out, with the birth control, and condom. There are other things you two can do without actually having sex, have you thought about that?

I am so sorry you lost your baby. How far along were you? I lost my first two in the beginning of my pregnancies. Now I have a five year old lil girl, and three year old twin boys. I am with you on the abortion point, I could never do that. I come from an inpovershied part of Philadelphia and see young girls having babies all the time. I'm 27 btw. I do not think it is impossible for a girl your age to have and raise a baby as long as you have your head together, and have lots of support from family. While I think 14 is a lil young to be having sex, that's not the point, you did it and now your pregnant. Have you spoken to your mom about this? Will she support you? If not, do you have any other close family or family friends to support you and help you through this? You do need to understand that your life as you know it is over if you keep this child. You cannot be out all night with your friends when you have a baby at home. You MUST stay in school and graduate from high school. Have you talked to the baby's father? is it normal for part of your tongue to feel numb after getting it pierced? the tip and part of the left side of my tongue have felt slightly numb for about 4 days now.

I have had my tongue pierced for 9 years now and have had a few ups and downs with it. When it is first pierced it can be numb for up to a week. Everybody heals differently. When mine was first pierced I could barely talk. I remember arguing with my mom that I did not have it pierced but I sounded like a blubbering idiot and gave myself right away. Just make sure you rinse with the solution the piercer gave you. If you run out of this use listerine. Rinse after EVERYTHING you eat or drink, it will cut down the risk of infection if you do this. Make sure to twist the tongue ring at least 3 times a day. It will be sore but this will help the skin to not close around the ring which will hurt a lot more. When you brush your teeth make sure to brush the bottom ball, food will build up on there and it's nasty. You will also almost always get horrible morning breath after having your tongue pierced which is another reason why you want to keep the ring clean or bacteria will build up on it. If it isn't better in 7-10 days after being pierced go back to the place you had it pierced they will be able to help you.
