Claire's sometimes have bright funky colors. I love the colors that Claire's has.
And Hot Topic ALWAYS has nail polish that is neon and funky. Those are the two stores i always go to for cool colors.

Q: (Sorry but this is a little awkward) I'm 14 and I've never had my period. Recently, it's been feeling...uhm...sort of itchy and uncomfortable... and it's gotten me really worried. It hasn't been anything but stinging. Then, a couple days ago, there was a little tiny bit of blood when I went to the bathroom, and it really freaked me out, but I calmed myself down. It also really hurts when I wipe myself... Then, today, there was a lot of discomfort, and when I went to the bathroom, my underwear had a huge stain from something in it, and when I wiped, the tissue paper had a lot of blood on it. So I just put a wad of toilet paper in my underwear and went back to lunch (we were at a restaurant). When I got home I changed my underwear, and I also put one of my moms pads on. So, just a minute ago, I went to the bathroom again to check, the pad was a little...yucky with something, but it wasn't so bad. So I wiped myself off and I couldn't believe how much blood there was. I'm getting really freaked out and I really need help. Tomorrow I have to go back to school, and I'm nervous that it's going to happen again during school, and I'm wearing light colored shorts tomorrow. So, I need help--is it my period? Did I just hurt myself, and will it go away eventually? What should I do before I go to school? Sorry about the length, but I'm all paranoid.

I'm pretty sure that it's just your period, so you might not want to wear light colored pants.
Although, the stinging and discomfort throws is off a little because i've had my period for two/three years already and it's never stung or anything like that. the pads are yucky though considering it's blood coming from your area. aha. but, everyone is different. most of my friends have cramps, but me on the other hand, have never experienced cramps. :]
i consider myself lucky. just wait about a week and if the blood doesn't pass away, then go see a doctor.

i know it might sound a little stupid, but i did that with my own pair of normal jeans and it turned out to look store bought. you can take a nail filer and kinda 'file' the spots of jeans where you wanna have it cut, or you can take scissors and open the scissors, and use the blade, whatever you do, don't cut the pants.

Q: what are some creative things i can do for entertainment when im around my house. alone. i feel like im always on the computer. i need some ideas . id like to be more productive this year.

Well, when i'm home alone and have nothing to do I:

- read novels and stuff that I've been putting off.
- watch tv but not usually for that long.
- write stories and poems.
- do chores.
- go outside and take walks.
- visit a friend.
- go to the park.
- play basketball.
- do arts and crafts stuff.

I'm really crafty so I once made a doll house out of noodle boxes and tissue paper and stuff I found around the house. I made like, little accessories to go in the house too, like couches and beds and pillows and things like that. That helps time pass. I also took a crochet class at my school for extra curricular so I just make things for my teddy bears. It seems lame but it's actually kinda fun and it helps time fly. (:

Q: okay so I have a boyfriend who's 16 and he's my prince charming and all that=). but there's a problem! my ex boyfriend still wants me back but I don't want him. one time I went to chill with my friends and their boyfriends at the movies and my ex is over here trying to show off and he keeps trying to get by attention. it's annoying as hell! and I'm not a very sexual person. when we were going out, he kept trying to have sex with me but I cursed him out. Ask him aside and tell him that you are VERY uninterested in him and find his gestures of getting your attention all the time quite annoying. Be very cynical with him and don't beat around the bush. Tell him you have a boyfriend that you love and do not intend on leaving anytime soon. Maybe then he'll understand. You could also avoid him as much as possible.

He just typed Adobe Photoshop into any search engine and tried to download the ones that he could find.

Q: whenever i open my phone... not all the time but most of the time the screen turns white!

i cannot send it into Motorola because the sticker is pink. I didn't get it wet! My friend gave me this phone because my other one was kinda suckish-the 2nd virson of the chocolate-and it was already pink but she claims she never got it wet.

Whats the problem here and what is the solution?

My razr does the same thing.
I have the v3I and when I open it, it turns white. Or while, I'm doing something, the screen flashes white as if i closed it and then the normal screen reappears again and everything i was just doing is gone & it's back to the normal screen with the wallpaper.

i think the problem is a result of getting your phone wet or dropping it too many times. there's not really any solution to it except get a new phone. hope i helped.

Q: I recently became "fashion conscience". I don't really care what is in style or what is out of style, I just like to look cute. That being said, can anyone suggest cute, easy-to-do hairdos? I have done a side ponytail, low pigtails, and I have parted my hair to the side and put a headband in my hair. I want something different. Oh, I've also scrunched my hair as well. And please don't suggest websites for this question, as I usually don't find anything I like on them.

Cute hairdos i do when i'm in a rush is make a "bump" out of my bangs and straighten my hair.

Or, i braid them before I go to bed & take them out afterwards when I wake up which makes it kinda crimp. To make it last & stay crimped, I used TRESemme: Tres Two Ultra Fine Mist hairspray since the hairspray didn't make my hair hard. It made it stay, yet it made my hair flexible.

Third hairstyle: I usually shower at night so after I got out the shower I would put my hair up in a messy bun while it was wet. I would go to sleep like that and when I took it out of the bun the next day it would be all crazy and wavy and flippy and stuff. I would either pull it into a pony in the middle of the back of my head or I would leave it down if it looked okay. For either choice, you could "bump" your bangs or make your bangs go to the side, I'm pretty sure it's called side swept bangs.

& then there's the plain look when I just straighten all my hair and do side swept bangs.

Q: i got photoshop so long ago but i never did anything with it because it's SO confusing, and the directions are even more confusing. i was wondering if someone could explain to me in EASY, SIMPLE terms how to do some cool things? for example, like merge 2 faces together or change the background of a picture. because i always see people doing those things and i dont get how becaues the directions are so hard and so is the whole thing. if someone could just write like little cool fun things to do to/with your pictures with easy directions that would be great. thank you!

Q: I need an eyeliner that won't smear at ALL.
I know theres gottta be one out there. Price doesn't matter. I just want it to stay on perfectly all day. Oh and it needs to be a pencil, I dont like liquid.

You can get the waterproof ones.
My friend had one and I used it & it never smeared at all, even in water. (obviously, aha.)
& if you rubbed your hand to rub your eye, it wouldn't smear so you would need to get eye make-up remover in order to get it to go away.

Well, if you're good at acting and somewhat good at singing and other people think you're good at singing, you're probably good, but not great.
I have the same dream as you, just not to be on broadway but in movies.
There are singing camps during summertime that you could go to that could help with your vocal skills.
Some camps you have to try out to get in. Just do some searching around and maybe you'll find one in your district.

Q: my hair is dirty blonde/light brown right now and its basically all of the same length (except my side bangs) i want to get alot of blonde highlights so my hair looks more blonde and i want to make it so my hair is a few different layers. as for my bangs, they kind of just sit there, they're all the same length and they don't look good. i want then to be short then kind of gradually get longer til they reach the rest of my hair. (i think its called side swept bangs) but i don't want them to start off too short cause i don't like them touching the middle of my forehead, just kind of my face is kind of oval. do you think it would look good?

i think it'll look amazingly cute.
my hair has the whole, swept side bangs with layers thing and my face is oval and it looks adorable so i'm pretty sure it'll look cute. as for the blonde highlights, i'm guessing it'll look fine but i don't have blonde highlights so I wouldn't know about that part.

Q: Hi, i haven't started my period yet, and i am really worried it's going to start in the middle of a school day, or even worse PE!!! I know to carry a pad with me, and i do, and i were thin panti-liners just incase, but i was wondering if there is any signs i may be starting soon? I have a feeling i might be starting soon, but i dont know whether it is just me being silly! Also i get a monthly discharge, just like a period, but it's not blood. I'm 13

i'm pretty sure you'll be getting it sometime soon.
Before i started mine, i had a discharge but it was also not blood. a couple months after that, i had my period.

Q: i have thin hair, but I want to get short layers (not really like the scene hair, just the layers) would it work with thin hair?? also if you could send pictures that clearly show the hairstyle that I can show the stylist (I want my hair cut to about 1-2 inches below my shoulders, with short layers)

I have hair somewhat like that and my hair is thin, so yeah, it will work.
You can show the stylist that picture just be sure to point out what you want or don't want.

Well, does he give you more attention then he gives other girls?

If he does, then he probably does like you but he's not completely sure and ready to come out with his feelings. He's probably just waiting for a while more to see if he really does like you. Or he's just not ready to tell you yet.
