I get so shy when eating in front of others. I like tense up. It's awkward & I can't live like this. I have no problem with the food I'm eating...I'm just insecure...how can I get past this?!
I know EXACTLY how you feel. I use to be the same way. When me and my friends would grab some lunch, i wouldnt want to eat with them. Id just get a drink because eating in front of people felt strange. Even at school, or partys it was awkward.
I got over it though....and you should too :]
its not wrong to eat in public. Especially if other people are. Just remember that its not a big deal. People dont pay as much attention to things as we may think.
So this is what i want you to do. Go out, just one time, some where where you're around people...at lunch, the mall, where ever....and eat =)
While you're eating look around and see why you're so nervous. Are people staring at you? Laughing? Anything? Or are you just another person whos eating their food?
Chances are you'll see that its normal. Nobodys really gonna care or notice. Everybody eats in front of people.

I spent the day with my crush a week ago at my house.we kissed, hugged, cuddled. So I told him that I like him and he didn't say it back, he just started putting his arm around me while walking and started acting like my bf. Now,it seems like were growing apart because we haven't talked for a whole week and now I see him walking with girls in the hallway. he barely talks to me now, well on tuesday he told me to call him and when I did, he said to call him back and I did like 2 times and he never answered.But I'm confused, because before we spent the day 2gether, in class, he would always stare at me, let me listen to slow love songs, hug me tight with his face in my neck, he asked me out for lunch a couple of times, gave me his number for me to call him and it was his idea to spend the day with me.so I have 2 questions: do you think he likes me? and now that were not talking, should I call him and ask him what's the deal with him and me or juss not bring it up at all? srry it's long guys.i really need ur help thank-u
Hm. This is a tough one, but it really just depends on the kind of guy he is. Personally, I think you should confront him. Call him up and ask him why he's been acting the way he has. Tell him that you really put yourself out there by telling him how you felt and you dont wanna get hurt. You dont have to be really dramatic or make it sound as corny as i did, but he owes it to you to let you know whats going on. If you really do like this guy though, you shouldnt just keep quiet. He might just be nervous around you and not know how to act so he's trying to avoid you all together.
Bottom line is you should just talk to him about it. It will clear up the confusion. And if he does want to be with you, great. If not, oh well it wasnt meant to be and you'll find someone better.

my boyfriend has post cuncussion syndrom from a tackle when he was playing foot ball and he's been really depressed latley. i'm not sure what i can do to help because he's been acting so isolated. he doesn't want to talk and i'm not able to see him over the weekend so i sent him a message telling him how happy he makes me and what a great guy he is and that i'm always gonna be here for him. but i don't think that's enough.
i want to do more to help but i don't know what i can do. it hurts me to see him so sad. i love him so much too.
any suggestions?
I think you should give him a little space for a few days. Just give him some time to think. The message was a good idea. When you're with him you can hug him and make sure he knows how much you care about him. The things you say to him will have a big impact too. If hes feeling really down one day just look at him and say "smile for me, babe."
He'll know that he has a girlfriend who really loves him and wants to see him happy. I'm sure everything will work out, just give it a little time.
