Ever since the new SAT's have come out (with the new scoring and stuff) I'm really confused as to what's considered good. I got a 1710 and I know it's not bad, but is it good? Also, how many times should I retake it? I'm a junior and I took it at the end of January. My councilor (who seriously doesn't know what she's talking about half the time) said that I should take it in the begining of my senior year that was colleges get an updated score and that's what they want. Is that true? The reason I doubt her is because she's told students they're not good enough to get into certain colleges and then the students end up getting full rides there. (Like one of my friends and UNC Chapel Hill.) Also she doesn't let students take the classes they want. I want to work with kids and she says that I need to take AP and honor classes rather than "wasting your time taking foolish early childhood education classes" Isn't that total crap?! Anyway, I just wanted to know if I truly have to take the SAT's any more because I've already gotten the scores to get into the college I want to go to. (ASU) and I planned on taking them this summer just to see personally if I can improve, but I'm guessing I'm better off waiting until August or Sepetember.
Anyway, summed up - what are the new 'good scores'? Also, should I just wait until schools starts (I'm not wasting money taking it more than twice)? Okay, I think that's really all I wanted to know. I guess my question didn't need to be so lengthy, so sorry about that.

well i got something around a 1240, and it was good enough to get me into college, so you did way better than me haha

1. what are some books you would reccomend for a 16 year old. I like teen books that consist of a person's perspective on high school, sex, life, etc. so far i have the earth my butt and other big round things
ps im not interested in the sisterhood of pants lol i forgot the name.
2. what are some books you reccomend to bring up self esteem and standing up for yourself bringing up your self confidence, etc. kind of like high school survival books (i hope this makes sense)

one that i really liked was go ask alice. but fyi it wont bring up your self confidence, its just about sex drugs, ya know that sort of thing. check it out, hope i helped :)

yea its possible, i had one once but it sucked. it would only track other people that had the same tracker, and it was always wrong.

So I'm a huge fan of the band Tenacious D, and my younger Brother thinks they're pretty awesome too. But Because of all the cursing, out parents don't want him listining to them. I came to the agreement that if i could find songs by JB that did'nt have that kind of language he could listen to it, so Does anyone know any.

well most tenacious d curses alot, the only song i can think of that doesnt have one bad word is Dio, and im not positive but i think rock your socks off is clean too. hope i helped, i loooooooooove tenacious d!

My favorite type of music is alternative/soft rock. For example-Fountains of Wayne, Guster, hellogoodbye, Sugarcult, Coldplay, and stuff like Third Eye Blind.

i think it shouldnt be required. in my school we do one our senior year, its such a hassel when your getting ready to graduate, and most of the people dont do it and just make it up. i think it sucks! haha

HEy i have Itunes now and my parents are saying its getting to expensive caus ei download like 10 songs a week....so i was thinking of dowloading Bearshare.. can any1 give me like a reviw of it and tell me if its good or not... does it give me viruses??Does it slow your computer down? Just like any information on it and is it like worth even dowloading it? (link)

bearshare isnt that good. mine has some kind of virus on it, it always says error, end program so if you want a song you have to be really fast and download it before the error comes up. so i wouldnt really reccomend it :)

i got my first period 1 week ago! it is still going on, and its not getting lighter. i've had it for 7 days and it feels like its not going away.
also, today i had horrible cramps, i had to come home from school i couldnt sit still i felt like i was going to die. my mom took me to the doctors, he sent my to CVS and he told me all of the medicine/pain relievers to use and now my cramps are gone. im NOT worried about cramps.
also today i threw up 3 times. the doctor checked me and i didnt have a fever my ears were fine i didnt have a cold, i was perfectly healthy so he doesnt know why i threw up. has anyone else ever threw up while on there period? is it normal?
basically my questions are...
1. is it normal to throw up while your on your period?
2. and since this was my first period, when i get my future periods will the cramps be not as bad?
3. and how long does the average menstural cycle go for each month? its been 7 days and it keeps getting heavier...

ok so today i was jumping on my neighbors trampoline when i felt wet. i thought i just peed a little but when i got home there was blood everywhere. this is strange because i had my period a week and a half ago. i asked my friend and she thinks my cherry somehow popped. did it? (link)

so today, this kid told me he went to the bathroom and got stoned..and its true he did cause he was acting really weird and his face was all messed up when he got back. But i just don't understand how he could do that and not get caught or how he was able to do that in the bathroom, or like what he was getting stonned on? (link)
