My friend and I are going to a regina spektor concert, but my dad had to buy 4 tickets cause it was cheaper or something like that idk. anyways, not a lot of people listen to regina spektor I know like 2 other people that do, but I'm not that good of friends that I can say hey want to go to a concert with me? cause it'd be so weird. What should I doo??
I'd ask them and, like the people before me said, it's a good opportunity to become friends. But if that would just be way too awkward for whatever reason, you can just ask casually like this:
"Hey, I heard you like Regina Spektor and had a few extra tickets to her concert because we got this weird deal where you get 4 tickets for cheaper or something. Anyway, do you guys think you'd want the extra tickets? I don't really know anybody else who likes her...haha"
So you don't have to ask them to go WITH you...but if you think it might be fun, you might as well have them come along with you. Hope this helped! :>)

ok. im starting highschool. and i'm not sure what to wear for the first day /week. i dont think we can wear tank tops, so yeah.
these are things i have in my closet..
-skinny jeans [dark ones and light ones]
-polos. [navy blue ones and maroon ones. i dont wear polos much..]
-skirts.
-regular jeans.
-black and white polka dot baby doll top. [thats really cute.]
-white shorts
-plaid shorts
-regular tshirts that just say like abercrombie or has a gumball machine on it. and stuff.
-this other cute hollister shirt, it has like a bow and stuff. its cute.
i have alottt of other clothes too. like stuff that all matches that stuff. i'm pretty sure i wanna wear the skinny jeans. the light ones, i roll up. and then the darker ones i keep down. i'm thinking of wearing the darker jeans. i dont knowww. what do most people wear on the first day?
[my mom wont let me get clothes right away, because when i switched to a public school in junior high, i kept changing my taste in styles.]
i mean i know what i like. like im into that whole california look. and i shop at places like urban behavior, a little h+m, abercrombie & fitch, hollister, forever 21, aeropostale, amercian eagle[kinda] places like that.
so any ideas?
Well, you know how when you get a few new shirts and some new pants/skirts/shorts, etc. you don't want to wear all your new stuff on one day?
Try to spread it out.
I mean, for the first day I'd wear something you think you look good in. Although first impressions don't always last, and I'm sure no one will think any worse of you if you don't go all-out with your clothes on that one day.
I'd save some of your cutest clothes for another day, (as hard as i know that is to do, haha) and wear your favorite shirts, but not necessarily with your favorite jeans...vice versa, etc. I mean, you don't want to run out of new clothes after the first few days/week of school.
I know it's hard to not wear everything all at once (after all, you bought it because you thought it looked great...so you'll probably want to wear everything so you look super-great! although I don't think thats the best way to go.)
So, my point is, if you spread out the times when you wear your favorite clothes, you'll feel good all the time, not just the first week or two of school...because then there's the whole issue of "aaahh i can't wear those pants twice in the same month!" sort of deal.
Besides, you dont want to look like you're trying TOO hard....but I think your clothes sound stylish and whatever you decide to wear will be awesome.

One of my Christmas presents from last year was a trip to New York to see a musical on Broadway [I live in Boston].
I was wondering what are some good shows playing on Broadway right now, or playing in the near future?
And, I don't even know if these are playing, but please don't say: Phantom Of The Opera, Hairspray, Les Mis, Little Shop Of Horrors, Rent, Wicked, or the Leagually Blonde one.
[I've already looked into/seen these ones, and I want ideas for some I haven't considered yet.]
I heard that the Color Purple, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Mama Mia! Were pretty good (probably in that order).
I went to see Spamalot, and I don't know if you're into Monty Python at all...but, even if not, it is HILARIOUS. If you ARE into Monty Python...the jokes will be 10 times funnier.

Hi, My mom is 100% careless, she gets me whatever i want, like anything, but i asked her tonight "Can i go to victorias secret to get bras and underwears?" she was like, THATS FUC*ING INSANE! I dont even wear that?! You'll get it when i start!" and shes 46, my sister, whom is 19.. turning 20 in january, she gets it with my MOMS CREDIT CARD! its redicilous! All of my friends wear their bras, but of corse, mine are from like, target, and the rest of my clothing is from abercrombie, it doesnt make sence! HOW CAN I TELL HER I DESERVE STUFF FROM THAT STORE!? and i already have underwear from there, my mom gave me her credit card when i was on a school trip in washington DC. and i got stuff in the mall, its pissing me off!
* what can i do to prove to her that i should be allowed to wear it?

I really don't understand why you need designer underwear. Who's going to see it? And if anybody IS going to be seeing it...well, if you're younger than your sister, you're probably too young to be doing that kind of stuff anyway. And if the reason you want it is just to say you have it...that's a little selfish, don't ya think?
I think you're the one who's definitely overreacting here. Who cares where your underwear is from?
If you really want it from there, just tell your mom you're willing to buy it with your own money. You should already be doing that for the rest of your clothes anyway.

One of my friends if having a birthday party and she said that it was going to be a horror movie marathon type of party since its suppose to rain that day(we were planning on going swimming).
Well the thing is.. i hate scary movies. i get scared easily :[ i really want to go, but im afraid that i wont have any fun.
(also, in dont know a lot of her friends since we go to different schools)
what do i do?
Don't feel bad, I do too - but they're fun to watch, even if everyone makes fun of me for being scared I just think of it as part of my personality..and everyone kinda laughs when I jump easily but I just laugh along, and it could even be a kind of icebreaker thing.
And hey, here's a wild and crazy idea. if you're afraid you won't know anyone, ask if you can bring someone because you are nervous about the new people, and bring a friend that happens to be a boy, that you happen to like a little...and just happen to grab his hand at a scary part.... ;) Haha

I've searched shoebuy, zappos, kangaroos, journeys, thetannery, and everywhere and i cant find them anywhere! When i typed in the adress it said shoebuy doesnt have kangaroo shoes and its driving me nuts. Any help?

I don't know what you meant by them not having it, maybe they didnt have the kind you liked? Who knows, but I found 10 pages worth on zappos.com (never haerd of it but you said you looked there?)

Alright at school there was this girl who had an amazing pair of sneakers that i want really badly. They were regular sneakers but on the outside there was this not quiet leather material that was all diffrent neon colors. If anyone has seen these shoes please reply:)
Oh yes, I believe you may be talking about Roos. They're really awesome looking - i have had a pair of them before. The only thing is, they get ruined somewhat easily - if they get wet or anything. Just try not to wear them when its raining etc. if you end up getting some.

Ok so i love dramatic movies with deep meaning behind them, i.e. the pursuit of happyness. if anybody could list some movies like that that they recommend it would be greaty appreciated = ]
"Garden State" is an amazing movie. Zach Braff wrote, directed and starred in the film, doing each to perfection. The plot seems a bit bizzare but as the story goes on, everything is put together perfectly.
Here's what the back of the movie box says:
Twentysomething, emotionally detatched Andrew Largeman (Braff) returns to his home in New Jersey after nine long years. Now, as he tries to re-connect with his past, a series of chance encounters with Sam (Natalie Portman) -- a free spirited girl who's everything he isn't -- sets the stage for a fateful, mind-blowing take on what his future might hold.

If you have a teacher you don't like, it can make the class harder (and more boring) for you. Especially if you have to wake up to that teacher first thing in the morning! But don't fret, it's only one class out of the entire day. Besides, you can't change that you're in that class. Try to make the best of it! Chances are you have other friends in that class who are just as bummed as you are. Just remember that everyone, at some point, has a teacher they don't like (usually more than once!). You'll get used to the class after awhile.

I don't know either. I've been wondering that for a long time. I think it's one of the fundemental questions of female existence. But don't worry! Not all guys are like that. Only the ones that aren't worth your time.
Once guys mature (which can take awhile), they will end up realizing their fault and coming back to you for your personality and confidence... not for your looks.

And my brother talks to her alot and he says that she said that she liked me too....But I have liked this girl for a LONG time and I would do anything for her but once my brother said that she liked me when she really didnt and then I found out that she didnt..I was heart broken..because I finally was about to ask her out..and then he says he was JOKING! So I dont know if I should trust him and believe that she really DOES like me. What do you think I should do?
Hey! Listen to yourself getting all stressed out about this. There's nothing to worry about! If things are meant to happen, they'll happen. You can't change fate in my opinion, so just relax yourself and the situation. Think of it this way: if your brother hadn't said anything, what would you have done? Since you don't know whether or not to trust him, just think of your relationship with this girl before your brother said anything to you. If it doesn't feel awkward, let her know how you feel, but be subtle. Maybe you can try going to the movies with a group of friends and sit next to her. See how she reacts. It's not rocket science, but it can be complicated.
As for your brother, let him know you want to talk to him. Your brother is supposed to be someone you can trust and talk to. Let him know how you feel and that you hope he'll be more serious about the matter. The truth is, it can be hard to deal if you're not the one laughing. Hopefully he'll be understanding and you can gain his trust once again.

For the first day of school, pick out whichever outfit makes you feel your best. Don't be afraid to be different from everyone else! Remember this: It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it. If you don't have anything 'cool,' just add a cool accessory like a belt or necklace. And don't worry; everyone else is probably just as worried about their size as you are. People (especially girls) tend to see themselves 'fatter' than they actually are. so don't worry! Just be confident and remember to smile! =D
