I don't think guys like either. Well, some guys like girls that play hard to get, but basically I think it's safe to say most guys don't.

Just think of it this way, would YOU like someone that was always playing hard to get or always leading YOU on? Personally I think it's annoying.

Serious? What does that mean? Serious as in serious about dating? Serious about eating? Or serious about you? Or serious about the future? Or serious as in a serious personality type? You are not being specific, therefore you won't get specific answers.

I think you're asking if they are serious about dating you. Pardon me if I'm incorrect but that's not my fault, is it? I'll help you out in looking for some qualities, but these are just some.

- Shows affection to you.
- Has no eyes for any other guy/girl but you.
- Does not flirt with anyone else.
- Takes the effort to call you.
- Is willing to go out (movies etc) with you.
- Loves you for you.
- Isn't just using you for money or for your body.

Like I said, only you will know. And the only way you will know is if you get to know your partner better and keep your eyes open.

I'll tell you this... don't follow the crowd. At least in middle school. In high school it will get even worse.

I understand why your mom wouldn't want you wearing make up. You're just in middle school. I'm a freshman and I still don't need make up. I don't plan to wear make up until I'm in college or even later (except for like, proms of course :P). I know a lot of girls my age wear lots of make up by now, but personally I don't need it so why should I follow the crowd? Just tell me this. Why would you need make up anyway? You're not wrinkly or old...you're beautiful just the way you are; so why would you need make up? Wearing make up just makes people believe that's how you look. What will they think when you go without make up? So now you're going to have to wear make up every where, every day, for the rest of your life? Make up covers who you really are. It's like a mask. Don't you want a guy to love you for who you are? Plus, you'll have to spend lots of extra time and money, applying make up on all the time.

And if you're not going to listen to me, at least listen to this: Don't sneak around behind your mother's back. Sure it's wrong, but not only that. She WILL find out and you will LOSE her trust. That means it will take even LONGER for her to let you do what you want. So by being nice to your mom, and not sneaky, you can just talk to your mom. Eventually, she will see how mature you are and let you have some more freedom. You could strike out a deal with her if you're absolutely willing to wear make up. For example, if she lets you wear a little bit of make up on weekends you promise that'll be it. Things like that.

As for the earrings, maybe your mom may be going a little overboard. Just calmly explain to her why you want to wear earrings (If you don't even know why you want to wear earrings...why is it a problem then?). Again, you can make out deals with her. For example, if she lets you wear earrings, you'll promise not to wear provokative ones. Because honestly, I think big and/or long earrings look...ugh.

This really depends on how you feel. The most important questions are 1) Do you love him? and 2) Does he love you? If the answer is yes to both of those questions, don't let his bisexuality (or so you think anyway) ruin a good relationship. Do you guys hold hands, kiss, all of that good stuff? If you guys do, at least he's giving you attention and affection.

Think about what I have said. But that's not the end of it. You need to talk to your boyfriend. That's what people always say, but that's because it's true and it clears everything up. Ask him if he's bi and if he has feelings for anyone else. If he's bi and he loves only you, why should you care about him being bi?

If that bothers you that he isn't "manly", think carefully before you break up with him. Maybe him acting like a girl is a good thing, lol. Sometimes guys just don't understand girls, but at least your boyfriend will understand you. If you love him for him, don't worry about him being "girly". But if it does bug you, the right thing to do would be to break up with him. Dating is all about bonding with someone, gaining new experiences, and learning what you need and want. I think you've done all of these things. If something doesn't work out, you move on and live life.

I've never had sex and whatnot (and I plan to keep it that way) so I can't answer your question from experience. But I did look it up for you.

Don't feel bad or embarrassed about it. I'm the same. Whenever it's late at night and I turn out the lights downstairs to go upstairs, I feel the same. It's not because you're crazy or weird. Well, you could be crazy or weird, lol, but from just being scared you aren't. The reason I think we are like this is because of what's happened to other people. It's not a nice world out there, and there are a lot of bad things that have happened in the dark. Plus, scary movies and things like that don't help either. They all make you think and they get you paranoid.

What may help is to put those nightlights around the house downstairs and turn them on when it gets dark. That way you'll feel a little better and they can be temporary relief until you can switch on the lights.

Find out if he still has any feelings for you. It's worth a try.

I'd advise you not to kiss him unless or until you guys are going out. Because obviously you want your first kiss to be special, and wouldn't it be special if it was with your first boyfriend? It would really suck to kiss a guy and find out later the kiss didn't really mean much.

If you'd like to sleep earlier I have some suggestions that might help you.

1. Stay up for a whole 24 hours if you can. If you can't, I'd try to stay awake for as long as you can, taking a quick nap, and waking up. After a day of no sleep, you'll be awfully tired. Wait until the time you'd like to go to sleep (Like 10 PM or something) and then sleep. You'll sleep like a log and you'll be back on track!

2. Maybe you can't sleep earlier because you're on the computer. When I'm on the computer, I can be on for hours and not feel at all sleepy. You should probably limit yourself from the computer.

3. If you're laying in bed and you can't sleep, maybe it's because you have too much on your mind. If that's the case, take a notepad, and write your thoughts down. Clear your head. In the morning you can go back to those ideas later.

4. Listening to classical or boring music might help. Or you can try any music, actually. Whatever works for you.

5. When you're trying to sleep, don't think about anything. Just clear your mind and concentrate on your breathing. Some people think about being on a rollercoaster, concentrating on the twists and turns. You could also try that, however whenever I try that I end up thinking about how fun it was and then I can't fall asleep. Lol.

6. Try reading. Eventually your eyes will get tired and you'll drift off to sleep.

7. Watch TV. You can put it on sleep mode, so it won't be on all night after you've fallen asleep.

8. Eat something and/or milk. You could also try a warm drink, like tea or hot cocoa. After having a full stomach, you might feel sleepy.

9. Take a walk. After a long walk, you'll feel tired and ready for bed.

What's more important? Fake nails or orchestra? You pick. You can get fake nails in the future when you're not in orchestra anymore, but you won't always get a chance to be in orchestra in the future.

Well like you said, she's lied to you about nothing REALLY serious, so give her some slack. If you really love this girl and she loves you, I think you should give it a try again. Of course she gets emotional when you mention a break up...it's probably because she loves you. Just explain to her you won't tolerate any lies from her because a relationship needs trust and no lies. If she lies again, just break up with her again. It's worth the risk. Giving oral sex means you can get STDs. I'm sure you know that. Do you really want to risk that just to pleasure a guy? There's not much you can do. You either change their ways (which is almost impossible) or you stay out of their way.

Well let me tell you, not eating for two days will not solve your problems. In fact, it will make them worse.

For one thing, it's really bad because you are depriving your body. Your body DEPENDS on food to keep you alive and working. Without food it will have to work even harder and it won't have enough energy.

Not eating for two days won't make you lose weight anyway. Sure, maybe you'll lose a pound or two. But what difference should that make? It's only a pound and you'll still look the same.

Do you know why not eating will make it worse? Because after those two days, you will be starving for food. And eventually you'll eat it all back. If you plan to not eat it all back and continue starving yourself, you're just slowly killing yourself and I don't think you want to do that.

The best way to lose weight is to give yourself time. You need to eat a big breakfast, and eat less things as the day goes. It's like an upside down triangle. Never eat food at night. You need to exercise. You need a healthy diet...not just pasta and beef and stuff all the time. If you want more details on better diets and exercising and all that good stuff, just look it up on a search engine like google.com. Many results will pop up.

Conclusion? You need to either give yourself time and try to change your habits or accept yourself. It won't happen over two nights. If you can't do that, you are just going to have to learn to accept your weight and love who you are.

These people below me have already given you advice on how to shave and stuff, so I won't repeat them lol. But I just want to bring to your attention that if you do shave, you're going to have to start shaving regularly because the hair does start to grow back quickly. Ever heard of a "5 o' clock shadow" on a commercial or something? That's when a guy shaves like in the morning and there's some stuble that grows back by the evening. So that might give you an idea of how quickly it will grow back. For some people it will last longer, but I'm just giving you an idea.

You need to respect your bestfriend. If she doesn't want to "experiment", then you shouldn't make her do it or bug her about it. If you care for her you will not force her to do anything she isn't comfortable with. Think about it, it would probably ruin your close relationship anyway after you "experimented".
