Q: i am thinking about asking my boyfriend to this carnival thats going to be at my school next week... it would be a double date because his best friend would come with his girlfriend who i am friends with... but the thing is... my friend really wants to go with me... so i said im gonna go... but i don't really no.. i don't want her to come with us to the carnival because she is always there when my boyfriend and i are together... we don't really hang out outside of school so this would be like our first date and i really want to go with him... how can i tell my friend that i can't go with her without us getting into a huge fight like we probably will

Tell her it's a date, as in two people together doing things alone. You could go see a movie with her the next day to make her feel better about it.

Q: Does anybody know any good s/n's? I need a new s/n but i just cant think of any good ones....thanks, ill rate 5's

Q: We have to turn a book report in every 2 months for english class. And in the other class alot of people read the book called the oddessy or whatever. I was wondering like what is it about? cuz i dont want to waist my time on that if its not good so do you recommend?

It's only a literary masterpiece upon which many movies, books, plays, and pieces of art of today's time build a foundation around, and despite being written before the pen was invented, many themes are still relevant in today's world. So, no, it sucks. Don't bother.

Q: Recently, I've thought about trying to learn the guitar. I don't really know anything about guitars but I also play the clarinet. Does knowing how to read that kind of music help in reading guitar music? And is it really hard to learn it when first starting out?

Take lessons. Forget books, if you don't take lessons you won't understand them.

Q: No, he doesn't go to the same school as me. But he does live rather close. I see him outside and I know he sees me but he turns around and goes back inside. I mean I get the hint, but why doesn't he just tell me

Ah. I can't answer for him. The best advice I can give is to just go to his house one day and get it all figured out.

Q: Here we go. Another teenage relationship problem. I'm in love with him. I thought he was in love with me to. We spent a lot of time together for the first 2 months. Then slowly he became distant. I keep calling him to tell him I need to talk to him about what's going on. He's either not home, or with friends and I just want to talk to him alone where he can actually focus on the subject. He tells me he'll call me back, which ends up not happening. If he wanted to break up with me why couldn't he just have broken up with me in the beginning? Why does he keep the persistant, 'today i like you'...'today i don't feel like talking to you'? Help me oh wise one.

I guess I don't really need to say "something is wrong" because you already know this. Since the phone calls don't seem to be working, you're going to have to confront him in person. I'll assume you go to the same school for a moment: Find him at lunch and talk to him then, or go up to him between classes and just say that you need to talk to him, and you want to after school that day.
As a guy, I'd appreciate someone being upfront with their concerns. I don't know the exact circumstances with your guy. I have, however, tried my best, and I hope you have the best of luck.

Q: Hey okay ill get to da story... im going out with this kid i meet and this Dance and his friend is going out with mii cousin.. well the day after i had meet him he came over my house with his friend and my two cousins were over after awhile my one cousin left and we were all making out and my boyfriend and i started doing things together.. till it was time for them to leave... and then i guess my mom got mad and my dad did to he called my uncle and told him but c my cousin is allowed to stay with her boyfriend and its not fair and my mom told me i have to break up with mine im not going to but i dont know how i will be able to see him even tho theres a party next saturday he invited me to and i rilly want to go but im afired to ask mii parents PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Your parents are protecting you. The fact that you were "Doing things" on the second means you are going way too fast. You are young, and you aren't ready to handle any sort of "things". There's nothing wrong with hanging out with him.

Well wait, why the heck did you get jiggy wit it in your own house? That was a pretty big mistake. Especially since, what, your parents were home?

Meh. Be careful. If you care for him (Which you probably don't, you think he's hot) and want to keep the realtionship going (he probably doesn't) then find other ways to get with him. But 10 bucks says your parents are thinking right. They've got at least 20 years of experience on you.

Q: There is a guy I like at school and today, when the last bell rang, i saw him walking in front of me to the busses. He turned around and looked right at me. I was thrilled, so when we got out of the building, I watched him get on the bus and he looked at me 2 more times. does this mean he likes me? i need advice from both girls and guys to get different views! THANX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I don't want to sound mean, but he could have been looking at you only because you were looking at him. People like attention, and he might have turned around to see if you were still soaking him up like a sponge (heh :-P). One sure way to find out is by asking him.
