I am 13 and am going to Disney World with my dad and step-Mom and I’m trying to lose some weight and I’m worried that I’ll gain a bunch back while I’m on vacation but I don’t want to tell anyone. Any advice?

As far as food options, you could always try to do protein like eating chicken, or any other kinds of meat and cheese. If you have to have a hamburger or cheeseburger I would eliminate the bread and just have the burger itself. Drink lots of water or possibly other "diet" beverages. Also, if it's your vacation you should at least try to enjoy it and have days to spoil yourself- after all you deserve it while you're on vacation. I was just on mine and I tried on some of the days to be good as well. At hotels, I ate two omelette's and milk for breakfast. I wasn't supposed to have the milk but being in the heat all the day I thought why not. You're going to burn a lot of energy by walking and being in the heat. Most hotels have the free breakfast so it's easy to stick with eggs.
I was surprised when I got back home I lost a little weight. Just be cautious about meals and snacks if you are wanting to focus on losing weight during vacation. The diet I am trying to do is Atkins, another one that is VERY popular is KETO. Atkins is protein based. Not sure if you like fish, but fish is good as well. Some places you go on vacation may have sections on their menu for people trying to diet or low calorie, low fat. [ burstxstar02's advice column | Ask burstxstar02 A Question ]
