AIM VIRUS!!!

Hi my names Ashley. I use AIM quite frequently and my friend recently sent me something that i opened but it was a virus. And now everytime i log onto AIM it goes like crazy and starts IMing this virus to everybody on my buddy list. I have Norton and Avast. But its not detecting them and i tried this program but its not detecting it either. This has happened to me before and i cant remember how i got it off. But everytime i sign onto AIM i can sign on for about 4 min. but then it sends that virus to everyone on my buddylist. Please help me!!!

First of all, I praise you for using Avast! Norton is useless, though Avast! is a fantastic program.

However, if these two programs aren't detecting this 'virus' it could be something called "malware"

Go to www.downloads.com

And find something called "Spybot Search & Destory"
That might be able to find your problem.

Also, be sure to keep your Avast! updated, if it already isn't auto-updating.

try uninstalling aim and then reinstall it ? maybe that will work
