world map countries

Is there just a list of every country in the world? I want to teach myself better geography and what I wish to do is start at the top of the list and find each one on a globe without any help. The problem is that most places I looked have a map by each name which would ruin it for me. :( Can anyone help me come up with the list and no maps?

I fucked up my high school carrier so bad all from pot, i am a clean cut 16 year old who is active and rides dirt bikes i have everything i could ever want, i constantly get yelled at everyday for my fuckin up in school, i just wanted to make my parents proud , but obviously thats not workin, they wont even let my transfer to a continuation school to earn credits and get my diploma there , im in a fucked up situation, i cant live for this shit, my whole fam would be so pissed if they knew how many credits i was missin, i need advice quick

I have a really hard time talking with other people in class, and normally I'm excluded from most of the groups because the kids think I'm weird. I'm in 6th grade and I spend most of my time in the counselor's office rather than in class. I would really like some help.

Ideas for school project?

We have to ask some questions about a chosen Shakespearean villain, and then answer them in any format. But there will be an exhibition, so there has to be some presentation element. People will have to interact and stuff with my presentation. My teacher says no powerpoints, and he wants us to be creative, to the extent of making vines etc. Any ideas? I'm doing Aaron from Titus Andronicus, by the way.

I have a project in school and I don't have a good group. I'm afraid we're going to fail. My dad said I could get digitour tickets if I get a grade higher than 90 or 90. I really want to go and the project is due tomorrow. What do I do?
(P.S. I went to my friends and they keep on saying "Do your best then if you don't get it there will always be a next year!"

dropping an honors class and going to regular

Last semester I barely received a C but I want to change levels this semester for this science class. I am becoming very stressed and I am always catching up with the rest of peers, even understanding targets the night before a test, that is if I understand it. I know I'm going to fail this semester because I am already doing bad and already too late to catch up with the rest of the class. Should I not be in an honors class? The pressure is too much and it is causing me to not be myself in everyday activities, including my behavior with my family and/or friends. I know it is better for college, to be in an honors class and persevere rather than change to a regular class but it is becoming too much for me to handle.

I'm 15, and I'm a sophomore. Okay, this past summer I found out I have anxiety and OCD very badly when I ended up in the ER after a softball game. Ever since, and even some before, I've had problems talking to people. Not only that, I can't stand being put in groups at school. No one is mean to me, in fact if anything, everyone is nice to me! So I'm not getting bullied, I do have lots of friends. At my school, if you play sports, you're pretty much popular. So I kinda am. But, if someone I'm not comfortable with tries to talk to me, I feel like crying. Sometimes. I don't like people knowing I'm there, and I don't ever intend on going to gatherings or party's, unless it's forced upon me. Even then, I feel like crying. I don't know what's wro...

So at lunch today, a girl asked me to go to the back of our classroom but of course my classmates are kinda like my family so they followed me out. They were all on my side even if they thought the girl was pretty. So here's the thing, a person was pretending to be me and texted bad things to the 10th grader and introduced herself as *my (screen)name* and the girl was kinda like hunting me down. But yeah so she warned me that I'm lucky her pride wasn't that big, because if it was, she would start pulling my hair and stuff. trust me, I call people crazy and weird but I would never say such things my poser texted her. My Grades: Studying doesn't seem to help me?

I have been bad at math mostly my whole life. I am currently in 8th grade and I started out this nine weeks with a B in math because we start at 100 every nine weeks. I'm not sure what I have now but I have been getting bad scores on my papers I get back. I feel depressed and worried. My dad was bragging on me because I had a B. Now, I know I don't. What do I do? Studying doesn't help because I never remember it. I'm so depressed

got a not so good grade

In my school we have word study tests weekly. I'm in Greek and Latin roots, and I'm in 5th grade. I usually get good grades like 10/10, 9/10,and 8/10. But this time,I got a 6/10. My worst grade! I got four wrong, and only 6 right! The worst part is that I have to get it signed by a parent, and I'm afraid my mom will be mad at me, and I'll get in trouble. I once got yelled at for getting a 14/30 on a multiplication test (that's sports like the word study situation, right?) And I'm in the highest math group, exceed in science, get all the answers right in reading, and do great in theatre arts and sports. I'm afraid that I've set my parents expectations do high, that if I don't live up to it for the rest of my life, they'll be enraged. Please ...

My jym teacher treats me and the rest of the kids in my grade like 5 year olds. I'm in 5th grade, but he makes us review volleyball skills we've known since kindergarten. He lifts the ball high in the air, or low on the ground, and makes us do the set, or the four arm pass, but never throws a single ball. He also makes us do those two skills as if it was a real game, but not a single ball was thrown. Then, he made us sit down for like 50 minutes reviewing “bridges and roadblocks" AKA, what helps you learn and what prevents learning, for no reason. Can anyone tell me how to STAND THAT FITNESS FREAK?

I do not understand how to tell what IMFs are present in molecules. Would anyone be able to help? I need to know IMFs for acetone, butanone, 3-pentanone, and 2-heptanone. Thank you so much!

Major/double major/minor

Hello, I'm a freshman in college majoring in sociology. I love the mind and people and learning how to get inside of people's heads and finding out why they do what they do and such. However, lately, I've been thinking that having one major is going to be very hard in the future for job searching. So, I was going to pick up another major and a minor. I was going to double major in sociology and psychology and minor in criminal justice.
I'm on here, obviously for advice to see what you guys think of that? I know that what I decide to do with my life is my decision but what kind of jobs do you think I would be able to get with those, do you think it would be easier for my future to find a job?

Wants to gain more knowledge

I am a female, 22 years old. I dropped out of High School my senior year. Not because I wanted to but because I was brutally bullied. I do plan to get my GED & go to college. However I would like to be gaining knowledge on my own.
My New Years resolution was to watch t.v less & to rude more. I do have a brain injury which makes it a bit difficult to retain knowledge but the more I try hopefully the easier it will become.
So what I am seeking is suggestions of books to read, I'm open to all different topics, quiz books etc..

What subjects do I need to learn Theoretical Physics?

Hi there. I am very interested in theoretical physics. I love math and I am re-learning it from the beginning so that I can get to theoretical physics. Thing of it is, I'm not that into science and technically physics is considered a science subject. So my question is: What K-12 branches of Science are going to be mandatory for me to learn to enter into physics 101? Can I get into physics 101/theoretical physics with just math under my belt?

Help with 7th grade math

I'm in 7th grade and I have a D in math. I try really hard, and turn all my homework in on time. I don't normally study, but even when I do I still get less than 50% right on my test. My mom puts a lot of pressure on me for failing. Don't tell me to talk to her about it, because I won't. Also don't give me crap saying "we'll quit being stupid then" or "get a tutor" and "just talk to her about it brat" because I already have cutting issues. But I need help

High School Pressure

I am 13 years old and I am applying to high schools currently. It can be really overwhelming, if any of you know what I mean. The high school process can be quite harsh. I have been stressing so much lately, its actually affecting my health. Could anyone help me with dealing with high school stress. Getting in applications on time, tests, high school visits, tours etc.?? Btw I've got a test tomorrow and I barely studied for it, any advice on that? Should I cram it all in or just rest and go with the flow? HELP!
