So I've been with the same guy now for about 2 years. We're happy together. The only problem is that my family hates him. He's never done anything to anyone, he's been nothing but polite and cordial. Their hate is based completely off his looks. They are all mad because they think I can do better. But I don't care what he looks like. How do I tell them to mind their own business, and come to me with their problems?

Hi I'm a 20 yr/F. the problem that's occurring in my family is that my sister is neglecting her family. she is 21yrs old and in love with this guy who is 19 yrs old. i have no problem if she likes him or not, but she is totally obsesses with him. she cant stop thinking about him. the main point is that they're just friends. she always tells everyone that oh we're just friends. she always calls him 24/7 and always goes to visit him. she lives with me and our parents and doesn't give our parents respect. she always tells them lies and she occasionally steals money from them. just for this guy. and whenever she would go out to see him she wouldn't come back till 4 in the morning. i know u guys think that oh shes 21 and that she has her freedom...

When I was 9 my parents got divorced since then my biological dad(my mom has gotten remarried) has wanted nothing to do with me and neither did his parents. They would blame me and my mom's family for the mistakes they'd made and would try to tell me lies so since they've wanted nothing to do with me I haven't talked to them in almost 10 years. When I was about 14 or 15 I found out that my biological dad was adopted I tried for years to find out who they were all while trying not to have to contact him. Recently I found out that he knew exactly who he's real family was so I found out where he lived and sent him a letter hoping that he would find some kind of kindness in him to do it. Okay this may be kinda long im sorry just bear with me please. so here is the story... my parents have been together for 15 years. It will be 16 this march. I guess my mom was talking to an ex boyfriend on facebook, then they started e-mailing and i guess they met for lunch a couple of times. This ex of hers is also married and has a wife and children. Well my dad told my mom he had a bad feeling and he knew that she had been talking to him. Yet he said word for word what was in their e-mails. my mom and I are always fighting and we both have bipolar disorder and somethimes she can get violent which can be physical and verbal like sometimes she will hit me and other times she will pick on me about how much i weigh just becouse I weigh 185 pounds which is overwight but she does not have the right to call me names. The thing is I can't move out becouse she's got papers on me saying that iam mentally encompentant which means Iam not able to live out on my own becouse iam mentally retarded. please tell me how we can get along better?

hi... as funny as this sounds, this a really weird and bad situation and I was hoping I could get some advice from you guys. My mom is ltierally obsessed with hair, but not just any hair, MY hair. She's always "liked" hair, I guess you could say. She should have become a beutician! She loves to do make up and all of that stuff. But, lately, the obsession has grown to the point where she really doesn't let me live. About a year and half ago, I had an eating disorder. I was anorexic and mildly bullemic. This week i was informed that i have been selected to go to France and study frence with a honors program. It is an opertunity of a life time. The problem is that my brother is getting married at the time i would be in France. So should i go to my brothers wedding and miss out or go to France and miss hiw wedding?

My mom wants me to quit my job because she knows that I am stressed out. She told me she'll give me 100 - 200/month. I refused because I don't want to take her money, I want to grow up and make my own. I get sick of the fact that she constantly brings it up, "Mary, maybe you don't have to work as much. This is a long story so ill keep it shor as posible.I am a father of a 13 year old daughter who I haven't seen since she was 3years old .not by my choice but by my ex my daughters mother .she always manages to get a restraining order on me because she's afraid that I would take off with my daughter and never come back .witch I would never do .but she's dong it to me so to speaak and there is nothing I can do.I don't have $20.000 up front to retain a lawer .I even work 2 jobs and stil don't have that kind of money .but you see I don't even know my daughter I was deprived of her for 10 years . Do think about her all the tme but that doesn't bring her to me .someone told me about fathers for equal rights .what a joke .so what do I do .anything????

19/f in the university but living at home. The university that I go to is a university, it isn't a community college and the reason I point that out is because they do have a student center, dorms, and fraternities and sororities, and all of that stuff. I want to explain a little bit about my situation but the bottom line is that I'm SUPER SUPER stressed. I live at home with my mom and my grandparents and I'm telling you that it's an absolute nightmare. I want to cry and I'm just really, really unhappy.

i am from philippines. i saw my mom with some other guys aside from dad... i did not tell to anyone yet. and this fact keep fucking my brains, mom left us to work somewhere far, left me, my brothers and dad in our hometown. As i am to study in college i am sent to the city where mom works. just so i know she bring home boys at home, chat with them online, meet them. there are three boys as far as i know. i just can't dealt with it. it hurts so much...

babys father refuses to work

Basically....
Boy and I were together for 2 yrs before I got pregnant at age 19. confused about my marriage

I'm 22 years old, but grown for my age.
Iv been living with my wife for 6 years, since i was 16 ( she was 20 at the time ).we have had our problems for a while now. and im sick of it. for the passed 2 years i havent felt the same way about her as i did when i was 16 years old. she was my first girlfriend, well first and last everything. I am a 43 year old mother of 3. 2 of whom are away in the military and one who is living with my fiancee and I as well as his 3 children. He also has one that is 20 who recently moved in with her mom.
When we first met, his children were running the household..There were bowls of stale milk, dirty dishes and clothes all over the house. There were kids coming and coming as well as boys in the girls rooms.

My Status in School

I am a graduating high school student. During my elementary, I graduated as a valedictorian. that is why My parents are expecting me to do good in school and get good grades. Now, I got a grade of 77 in calculus and if they'll learn about it, they would surely be mad at me. I don't know what to do. I love my parents and I did my best but I'm not really good in math. I could not let them down... Please give me advice on what to do/say and perhaps some good study habits in Math because I think it might help.
