i need this ASAP!! its due on monday.. a basketball project.. can anyone tell me (please) the techniques of basketball and how they work example : dribbling offense defense rebound, etc) and then how it wrks for example: dribbling. You have to .. bla bla bla// somethinhg like that coz i know nothing bout basketball and i really need helkp coz i wont be able to do this project over the weekend because i have to go to church the whole weekend so can you please tell me the basic techniques of basketball, something that i can undersatnd and please dont use big words coz i dont know thos words lol... thanks oh and if youre a too generous person can you also tell me the basic rules of basketball coz i also need it but techniques is numero uno ok? thanks so much

so.. dance team try-outs are the 2nd week of may..and the try-out is a week long so we can learn the moves. im soo scared because, im NOT stiff..but i can be. how can i loosen up because i am so scared and really wanna make it into dance team..i can dance but i dont know how to loosen up when it comes to try-outs. ive had hip-hop dance class before and i know how to dance...please help.

Hi i am from New Zealand and i dislocated my knee some 35 years ago playing rugby , i want to do a bungy jump , from the knee point of view is it safe to do so .
I still play tennis , squash etc.

in the Bring it on movie.. the first one, whats the name of that cheer move that the team wearing green did (the team that won the championships first place) where they throw a girl at the top of like the pyramids, and shes like flying really high and then she gets caught at the bottom? also in the thirs movie (All or nothing) whats the name of that dangerous move they didnt want that chinese girl to do, and the first time she did it she broke her arm? thanks.

Cheerleading? & Splits! Posted Saturday April 21 2007, 11:50 pm
I want to start cheering, but I don't know where to start. I'm extremely flexible, but I can't do the splits. I can go pretty low, but not all the way.
So I need some help with learning how to get to that point, like excersizes?
Also, if anybody knows anything else I could do to try to make the squad, that would be greeaattlly appreciated!
Like what should I be able to do? Back flips?

i was wondering for a free throw in basketball..is it IF YOU MISS THE RIM OR IF YOU MISS THE WHOLE BACKBOARD ALL TOGETHER that its considered a violation or whatever..and if you do miss it WHAT IS THE VIOLATION?

what is drill team? like is it jazz or hiphop or tap or ballet or what? and at a private school, are the tryouts for drill team hard? like what do you do at the tryouts, and if there's someone that's never done jazz or hiphop or tap before, do you think they could get in?

I was gone for about a month on a vacation and I came back and I started to play sports and now my muscles are sore. It's mostly my legs that are sore. My hamstrings, thighs, calves, and a little bit of my abs. What are some ways that I can make my muscles less sore quickly?

I play volleyball and I would like to become better in the Blocking area. My coach doesn't live in the same city as me so It would be hard to have him help me after or before practice or even on other days. So i'm asking you advicenators!
My coach tells me that whenever I block I close my eyes and I don't just as high as I normally can. So how can I open my eyes when I block. I don't know why but I just do it automatically even if I tell myself "keep my eyes open!" they still close. any advice is helpful!!!

I have been sick with mono for about 4 weeks ago and I think It's gone, however I feel that I am still not fully recovered. I participate in track and soccer and I regret that I have been practicing too hard too soon. Now, I am super sore and My question is how can I treat my sore muscles (mostly my hamstrings, quads, calves, and shins.. and also maybe abdominal muscles). How can I treat these so they can become less sore and so that I don't have to take it easy and stop playing sports?

Okey So Im Trying Out For Cheerleading & I cheered last season but i didnt try out -- i sighd up late :) -- anyways. i have a roundoff hand spring with a spot & i can do two sometimes, i also have a tuck -- Also with a sopt -- my coach says i can do it bye my self but i wont :/ i can do a backhand spring.... anyways i was on level two last season. but see i kinda dont wanna be a level two again i mean yea it was soo fun but all my friends are gonna be moved up and i wanna be with them but i dont know what team im gonna make....
so yeah there level 1 level 2 level 3 4 & 5 what do you think ill make.

tommorow i hava track meet and i dont have my shoes yet! we are possed to b gettin em off of www.eastbay.com and it ull take about a week to get here i dont have any extras its either etnies, heely's :( or nike shox that the bottom has gone flat....i need a spare pair of shoes for tomm. sum1 give me advice to find sum and i cant go to the store cuz my mom spent her check on bill thanks in advance :D

Ok.I'm basically not skinny. I've tryed EVERYTHING to get it to go away. I've done dieting, but I keep on braking them, and I'm already in about 1 thosand sports. So I'm thinking about only eating lunch and a little dinner everyday, but I don't know how bad that is for me. Like for lunch, a salad, orange juice (which is nasty), and for dinner maybe only an apple. So should I do it or not? Plus, I need to know if I should do it or not, what should I do?
