Best resolution for all? Posted Sunday May 30 2004, 6:46 am
Hello. I've been given the task of designing my school's yearbook, and since it'll be distributed as CDs, I've decided to present the yearbook content via HTML. Main content will be text in the form of articles, profiles, and photo galleries.
Now, the question; what would you consider the best resolution to design for, and would it be better to use a table-designed or CSS-designed layout? -- I don't know much about CSS, and there are time restraints to consider, but I'm willing to learn it if it means more flexibility. Any layout would be simple, but I also want it to look fairly consistent across all computers. I can't really ask people what their screen resolution is, because most people wouldn't know what it is. So... can ...

Positioning iframes Posted Tuesday March 9 2004, 8:04 pm
I have a webpage question. I want to put my livejournal into my webpage with an iframe like before, but now I want it to be specifically positioned. Like, first I want it to be 164 pixels from the left and have the actual iframe be 400(wide)by 331(high). My question is... how do I do this, or can I, even?

Pixel Graphics Posted Tuesday February 24 2004, 12:01 am
Has anyone seen (or written) a tutorial about making these? I'd really like to do them but I don't understand how they work. What makes them so detailed while being so tiny? Do they just make a regular graphic and then zoom in? I don't think that would work.
Thanks. :)

Has everyone who posts here forgotten the basic rules of grammer?
Do they not know how to turn off CAPS LOCK?
Do they not know how to capitalise the letter I?
I refuse to answer any question that is unreadable because the author cannot be bothered to write properly.

Need help with frames and Bravenet and yeah. Posted Sunday December 14 2003, 3:08 pm
I created a website on Bravenet (bravehost) and I've almost finished. I used frames for it, and when i veiw it in visual editor, it works, but when I look at it regularly, it doesn't. I have my lj as the center frame thing, and the side is an image map, etc. What am doing wrong? I went to FAQ and copied it exactly as bravenet said to do frames. ARGH!
