How come nobody else is nervous about having to swim in school?

I am doing the swim unit in school and boys and girls do it together. I was too scared to do it because I will be showing off my body to everyone then and girls seem to be vicious monsters that will humiliate anyone, so I asked my mother to write me a note so I can sit out. Now I just sit and watch but it seems no other boy is nervous about having to wear just trunks in front of all the girls, they look like they are all having fun, How are they able to do this?

Hey, 19, female, cashier. There is this guy that I work with who is above me so whenever I have a problem or whatever, he is the one that comes to me. I've realized that he is quite friendly with a lot of the other women cashiers but when he's around me, he's very soft spoken. He does his job when I need him and call him over, he is just very quiet when he does. The most recent time I called him over, he came over, did his thing and while he waited for the customer to do their thing, he opened all of my bags for me and put the remaining bags in the customer's cart. i am poor and running short of school suplies

hello. i am to go to high school by november end. my parents are poor and deficit of financing my school supplies as my grandmother was sick and had to undergo an intensive treatment. i do work part time but i can't buy anything for all the cash is used up as tuition fees. i love going to school and don't want to drop out. i registered for many back to school giveaways but in vain.i also do not have any computer and walk miles to a cyber cafe for my school work. i was hoping if any kind person here can help me financially. i just need my school supplies . please help. if you are ready then comment your email where i can contact you. thanks in advance. i am really grateful.

Is this bullying?

There's this girl who is my "friend" but sometimes she is such a bully and makes me cry. Then, she'll go right back to being "nice". I try to avoid her but I can't. Is this bullying? What can I do? I've tried confronting her but it hasn't worked. Anyone have an idea? All advice welcome. :)

I'm a 21 year old female and I'm a server at a popular restaurant/sports bar. There's a dining area, then a separate room for the bar, then a bar top where the actual bartender works. When I wait on a table and they order any type of alcohol, I have to ring it in, then the bartender gets the order and makes the drink. Once it's ready, she puts it in a window for me to pick up and take to my table.
The problem is that she doesn't make the drinks very fast, causing my tables to get angry at ME because they have to wait so long on their drinks. Can bullying make you sick?

My question is: can verbal bullying make you physically ill? I was in science and a girl was mocking me to half the class and they were all laughing. I kept turning to try and say something but my teacher was there (she's strict but has a good heart) kept telling me not to (well, she said my name in a warning tone, and I knew what she meant.) After a while another girl on her side (we were in the middle of a class debate) and was imitating me and laughing with her and like calling me makes. Why are people in college so shallow? Why is every girl obsessed with having a boyfriend instead of being good at something or being intelligent. I am deeply invested in my school studies because I love what I am studying and predict it will be a life-long passion. I just feel so left out.

I'm going to try to keep this short and sweet. I have a job, where I've worked for over a year. Next door to my job is a shop, and the owner of the shop offered me a job. I accepted the offer, and therefore had 2 jobs. I only had the job at the shop for 2 days. This is why.
My first day, the manager of the shop ("Ashley") told me that she has been having sex with my manager at my other job ("Jake") in the back office of her shop. So I'm an Arab and a Muslim. I am not what you would think of when I said Arab. I wear shorts and am a blond with dark hazel eyes. I'm as pale as Snow White and have delicate arms but strong muscular legs(socce player) I am so tired of being judged for being an Arab or not covering up. Third wheel

I am always the third wheel. With my two friends Mary and magan I feel like I don't belong. They are meant to b bffs though. Their name both start with m, mine starts with h, they live across the street from eachother, I'm way out of their neighborhood, and they are bornEXACTLY one month apart, I'm a month and 3 days. Mary's dad always picks Megan for the soccer team( you can only pick one person for the soccer team and your daughter. Today.. I have been a pest, an annoyance and a bother since I can remember. I enjoy bothering people by annoying, twisting their words, get under their skins, and disregard their own feelings. I am not sure why I enjoy this and I do not know if I will ever change, but it is problem. Even if I do change,I am not sure what I should become.
