I hate even having to say this because one thing I'm terrified of is sounding self centered. My friends and people I don't even know tell me I have a good voice. I love to sing and I think it's what I want to do with my life. Alright, I admit I'm okay. But does anyone know how I can get involved in the music business or have a number I can call or anything? Thanks =]

I'm considering performing "The Contest" from Sweeney Todd (the musical) at camp. I know I can definitely pull it off vocally, because I have a very low voice, and not trying to sound cocky, but I'm a pretty good actor, so I could do the fake Italian accent accurately. And I could put shaving cream all over my friend.
Do you guys think people would think it would be weird if a girl performed as Pirelli?

ok so i have a passion for dancing. i loveee it. i love to be on stage. i love to perform. i've done sports all of my life and i'm about to be a senior and i've never taken a jazz/ballet class. i regret it a lot. i know if i had started dance earlier i could have gone so much further than where i went with sports. i feel so sad ..... like i wasted talent and spent time on things that took me no where.
i started taking hiphop classes....bc that requires no previous dance knowledge....just a little rythym........and a week later they made me a teacher at the studio.
i want to go far and try out for companies and go somewhere.i know i have the stage presence to do it. but every audition, application, or place wan...

How can I inprove my vioce? for singing. Im not sure if I sing good. Im very self concience about my vioce, but I want to be a singger. I love to sing. No body has heard me sing like with all my effort. How can i improve it?

What guy from what band jumped off the stage to crowd surf but the crowd parted and didn't catch him and he fell on the floor and like broke his arm or something? I was pretty sure it was the guitarist from fall out boy but I can't remember...

my friend lily really wants to be in theater, but she never wants to sing. and i'm like sing lily come on i'll tell you the truth if you are bad or not. well she finally did but she was embarrased to sing right infront of me so she made a video of her singing random lines. I don't think she's like horrible. What do you think? I really want to know so I can tell her if she should try getting singing lessons or something. Please don't say oh she's flat or she isn't hitting the note cause she never has had singing lessons. Thanks! I am in love with their music and I really want to help them get more shows and get big
they deserve it.

Marching band

Hey, 15/f/NC here searching for marching band help.
You see, I transfered from private to public school this year because my private school lacked the academics I needed to get into college. I've always been a huge band geek, so the moment I saw marching band listed as an elective with credit, I signed up.
The thing is, I don't know the slightest thing about marching band! Yes, I know how to play my instrument (flute), very well, in fact. But I have no idea what "steps" they use, etc. The playing my instrument while moving factor won't be that hard, but the actual steps might be.
Do you have any tips/tricks/heads-up information to offer? If you do, PLEASE answer. Your help, howeve...

ive been playing guitar for a year and piano for about 8 or 7, and ive been trying to write a song, but i just cant.
does anyone have any tips for writing a song with words to it on the piano or guitar? i want like a love song, thats like whats left of me or the scientist, or like that kind of song.

okay this song was out around 1990 or 91. Lyrics as follows...
