Dance Team Auditions

I'm female and 18, thin build, 5'4" with 113-114lbs. I'm going to start college soon and I found out that there's a Dance Team. In high school I was in basically the only dance team there was but from 11th to 12 th grade nobody had time for it anymore so it pretty much got cancelled. I'm not an expert, I can do expert flips, splits, or any sort of acrobatic move. However I really love to dance, and I think it would be fun to audition even if they don't pick me. The thing is... they have a lot of requirement I can't comply to: experience (being in a four year dance team that only performed once a year couldn't really be called experience), recommendation note (I never had a teacher nor a coach, we were just independent kids who wanted t...

Hi! I was just wondering if I could where a push up bra? I DO NOT want to be slutty with it I just really want more support because my boobs are a bit bigger then most girls ( my bra size is a 36A) and how do I ask my mom with out her freaking out? Please help and please no hate

Yesterday is really registered to me that I like to burn things/ light things on fire. I wasted my entire brand new lighter the other night on burning different things. Something about watching the flames arise and then die out feels good. Not sure if it's calming good or what, but I feel something. I've read up in pyromania and I don't know if that would apply to me or not

Neighbor is a bully

I have an elderly neighbor who feels that he needs to dictate what everyone does with their property. Once he tried to have my truck towed because he didn't like it parked on the street. Now he called the city inspector out to look at a car under my carport. It didn't have up to date tags. I'm on a budget and expecting my first child in Sept. So yes, I didn't update my tags but thought the car would be fine under my carport on private property. This man has been a bully for years to other neighbors. How can I deal with this ignorant man?

why are men taught to be the “scary" gender

I'm not justifying any crimes, but it seems that when there's a video of a women beating a man for no reason, everyone cheers her on and the man doesn't really get any justice, but when a men does it more men come over and beat the shit out of him, people call him every name in the book, then the cops come over and beat the shit out of him, then his innmates in jail probably beat the shit out of him for it, the women gets all these benifits, and goes to a nice home and a support group and everything. My mom actually told me if I get lost to find a women, preferably a (rich) mother, to help me. Don't try to ask help from a man. Am I Completely Screwed?

I'm planning on moving out of my parents' house soon (hopefully in August), but I have a problem. I currently don't have a car that runs. I bought a Ford Mustang, but it's got a problem with it's wheel bearing and I don't even know when it'll be fixed. The part it needs is on back order and its already been a while. There aren't any taxis in my town and if worse comes to worse, I could ride a bike until my car gets fixed, but is there anything else I can do? Please don't try to talk me into staying with my patents until my car is fixed. I absolutely can't do that for so many reasons. why do men think they're superior

In my family my dad got in an injury and can't work, so my dad does what men feel the mother should do and my mom works. We have food on the table, clothes on our back, clean water to drink, a roof over our head, we splurge every now and then, have plenty of cool stuff, and me and my siblings are completely fine and healthy children. So why do men think this? The fact is, men and women both need each other to have children and keep the population going.

Hey. I've been sort of depressed lately because I'm in high school and I'm about 6 or 7 months younger than a lot of my friends. I'm really jealous of them because I volunteer at two hospitals. I'm a greeter at one, and I do filing at the other. I volunteer Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays which totals 16 hours. A lot of my friends turned 15 halfway through this past school year (I'm a rising sophomore) and I'm just turning 15 on August 3rd. One of my friends in particular really really bugs me, because sometimes we hang out and she tells me how all of her coworkers and higher ups at work just love her, and literally tell her that she's a ray of sunshine. She also tells me about her perfect grades. I feel like asking her, "Why not just...

I really like acting and have been doing it for a while. I want to get into the industry but it is hard to find legit auditions that don't have over a thousand kids auditioning without an agent and to get an agent you need to first mail in headshot/resume and then they might call to set up an interview. The problem is that agencies receive so many applications they randomly throw away about 92 % of them and then look at that 8 %.so i am wasting paper and chances are if i send a hundred of them , Only 8 will be looked at by an agent and I might not be that face they are looking for. So it is a cycle. How do I start in this industry.( please don't say buy a handbook or just perform in theater and ill get around cause it is not working)

Well i am a university student , even though I am a middle class my parents worked so hard for me to get into the university i am not a scholar guy I'm just average at first year in first semester i had 3 ATKTs and because of that i had to give 9 subjects this semester
I worked hard i did my best there was a time when i didn't even slept well for 6-7 days ...

So, in 4th grade religion school the teacher asked who wants to be an alter server and I didn't raise my hand. He wrote down the names of kids who did raise their hand, and then when I got home my mom for some reason called the church and asked when rehearsal was. When they said I wasn't on the list she asked me why, and I realized she wanted me to do it and wouldn't stop until I did, so I let her sign me up. It's been about a year and I've tried to get used to it but the more I try the more I hate doing it. I don't want to do it anymore, but I'm afraid to tell my mom, and I'm afraid that everyone in the church will hate me if I quit. Can someone tell me how to tell my mom the truth?

Penny board

So I'm a freshman in college and I'm planning to get a penny board to get around to classes. The only concern is that I've never been on a skateboard before and people say penny boards are difficult. I really want the penny cause of its size since it's easy to carry around. I'm a tiny girl with tiny feet do I don't worry about it being too small. Just worrying about using a hundred but not being able to ride it. And any advice on learning it please?!

I will go back to school in august and I am going to high school for the first time. Kind of nervous about it and ugh, I want to get it over with. Can you guys give me some "high school experience" stories or tips or something? I think I am really gonna hate it. Is it as big of a deal as it is on tv and stuff, cause I always hear how high school was like a crazy time...

disney audition help (open casting call)

hi everyone! next week I'm going to an open casting call for disney and, though i have been taking acting for a long time, Im new to auditioning. I can act well but I haven't had to audition much in my town( not many people act and the people who put on the shows teach me so they just contact me and ask me if i want the part) I don't know what to read or how long it should be. i found a script online for disney auditions but that is the type for making a video and sending it in. i also don't know if it could have two people in the scene? would they read the other part?

Question about being dishonest on my rental application

I have been living in an apartment for 3 years with no issues. The apartments were located in a transitional neighborhood and have been owned by three different companies since Ive lived there. This is the first time Ive ever rented a property and, as unbelievable as this may sound, I was incredibly naive to many things. I resigned my lease for one more year but I have two big dogs and apartment living has become way too hard with my busy schedule. Me & a friend have decided to rent a house together. Okay, let me explain a little...
I have met gay people. I had a friend who was gay, I don't hate gay people and I don't like it when people are hateful to homosexuals.
But.
I don't agree with it. I'm not sure exactly why though...it just rub's me the wrong way.
I suppose it has something to do with the Bible(considering I am a Christian). But I know the Bible also says "Love your neighbor as yourself" and also not to judge others unless you are in a position to do so, such as being a judge or jury in court.
