New Guy

Lately I've been chatting a lot with this guy. He's a friend of a friend. Anyway, it's been about 3 months now and we have loads in common. We decided to go see a movie together(not a date) next weekend. Trouble is, he's very smart, and when I'm chatting with him I always feel like I'm too stupid for him. When we meet, I'm afraid it might show even more, that he might start talking about things that i don't have much say in and he'll find me unworthy of his time and won't want to be friends anymore. How should I act, or should I plain out cancel the meeting and just stay friends on msn?

Religion

Ok, I know my category says "Mental Illness" but I don't have psychological problems.
For the past 3 or so years I have really really been doubting any sort of religion at all - I was born Muslim, but I guess now I'm Secular Humanist.
My question is: How did you stay feminist and Libertarian w/o compromising your Christian beliefs? 'Cause some of the stuff in the Old Testament is disgusting. I mean, if it was anything else, I wouldn't mind if i disagreed with part of it...but since it's religion, how do ya deal with it?

ok ive never had a boyfriend and i really want one but i think its because peopl ethink that im fat... i really dont know what to do because ive tryed everything to loose weight but it jst wont happen and i have so many thing going on in my life and i just want someone whos there for me please help me......

There's this boy (let's call him...Bug) and I have this friend (lets call her...cool)
Well, I used to have a big crush on Bug last year and I told one person and that one person told a lot of other people (which I don't really care because I wanted him to know) Well...Bug is just so cute, even if he is a jerk. I started liking him last year. I didn't find out he was a jerk until this year though.
My friend, Cool, was at her locker this year, and Bug came up to her (and I was right next to her at MY locker)and Bug was like "Hey, Cool, will you go out with me baby?" and both Cool and I knew he was only joking and being an @$$.
Cool just gave me an embarrased look and then I didnt say anything but big was...

Ok, so my boyfriend and I broke up awile ago. And it was sort of a bad break up. And he's gotten a new girlfriend. But, he still acknowledges me. You know? But, he won't talk to me first or anything. I have to talk to him first. Oh and by acknowledge, I mean he like still looks at me...like a lot. It's odd. And as soon as one of my friends notice him looking, and he notices them noticing, he turns his head right away. Like he's trying to hide it. I mean...what am I suppose to think?

Okay, I'm a very very shy girl. Like extremely shy. How do I get a kid I like to notice me?...I think he's seen me around, but he's just so cute and the way he walks is so graceful. I can't get him out of my mind...it's something that I just can't help. It's not an obbsession, just a huge crush. Believe me, I don't waste my time being obsessed with boys. THEY'RE JUST BOYS! (no offense) But this kid is just the perfect person for me...and I'm young but I think I', old enogh to know when somebody is almost "the one"...at least for now...
So, does nebody have advice on how to get this kid to notice me?

ok my friend and i are semi close and he isnt really that cute but today when i passed him in the hall in the morning his eyes caught the light just right and i literally stoped and just stared at him and i mean last year he would make my knees go weak and melt every time i looked into his baby blue eyes (they are like brad pitts eyes in interview with a vampire when he is a vampire not before) and he has the most gorgeous lips but i have to say an ugly nose lol any way the other day i told him his sister told me he had little pink piggy's on his boxers and after i told him hes like well i do see and he showwed me cuase he was wear...

I am absolutely fed up. I am in the seventh grade, not popular, not pretty, but intellectual and intelligent and very very friendly. (I think...) Anyway, all the guys are into the hot girls with no brains, or the ones they dont even know. They are all so shallow, my guyfriends always talk about how hot the sluts are and this doesnt help my self esteem at all. I don't want to change into one of the slutty ones just to please them because I am happy with the way I am, but I dress wierd, like a boy, I buy my clothes at thrift stores and ross, I AM wierd, and some normal people dont want to get near me. I just wish there was a way for people like them to see beyond looks because its really getting to me and making school a living nightmare...

A calibrated sioux engine stole Bob Marleys condom case, and now the cops are after me. I didnt do anything wrong, but still they think I broke into a museum and ate the cheese from the library display in the cadaver section a-e. I really need help and my fish broke up with me. I dont know what I am going to do with a baby on the way. We had such good times...HELP!

Alright, so I finally got this serious boyfriend. But, of course after awhile, I forgot how lucky I was to have him,(yes I was lucky, he's wonderful, despite his flaws) and I started flipping out about the most stupid stuff ever. And he couldnt' take it anymore and dumped me. He was so sweet about it, (well as sweet as you can get dumping a person) he even cried. He told me that he cried every time we fought. And I was completely shocked. He kept how he felt from me because he didnt' want me to be upset. And I went psycho trying to get him back, but it just pushed him further away from me. And he blocked me on AIM and told me never to talk to him again. And now he has this new girlfriend. And he says he's really happy. But, yet I mentioned ...

Ok, I had a boyfriend let call him (troy) but anyway I really like him but i broke up with him to have sex with someone else. he stop talking to me for a year and now we just started to talking again we are closer than ever. he said that he would take me back if his two friends give him a good reason to go back with me. But i don't understand what he means? I think he cares about me but don't like me. Because i fall asleep in the cafeteria and no body woke me up. BUT HE DID. So does he like me or what?

Whoo, it's another question suspiously similar to every other question asked here, but is getting asked here because the person who is asking it thinks that their situation is somehow inherently special and different from everyone else's.

Ok. I've been friends with this guy (I shall refer to him as... um... Blarg) for about 3 years total. (I am in 9th grade, as is he.) I started liking Blarg about 2 1/2 years ago, and I've told him I like him, abeit via other people. I *suspect* that he likes me "as more than a friend" (I DESPISE that phrase but it will have to do), in fact I'm nearly positive, but recently something happened at his birthday party that made me wonder.

I see a school counsleor and a counsler outside of school and there is this one girl who is going out with my ex and she's spreadin crap about me like saying that i'm tring to break them up and crap like that and i want to kick her ass cuz other ppl are stoppin me in the hall saying don't break them up or i'll kick your ass. and even her boyfriend (my ex) is getting really pissed about this so like i want to kick her ass so bad but i'm not sure if i want to. and my counsler said to talk to her but i can't cuz she's pissin me off and if i try to talk to her i'm afraid to i might kill her. and plus i got into a fist fight with my really good friend.

Is there a doctor in the house? If so, can you explain to me what acute neurological dysphasia is? I cannot find anything about it on the net, it sounds like something made-up and I really don't want to go to the library and reference it in medical books. Thanks!

please can you help me end my addiction to horribly insulting reality television shows? it's like when i'm channel surfing and one's on i can't not stop on one... the more degrading the better. i don't know what it is about seeing people exploited, i'm just facinated by it, but for some reason i feel dumber after watching these things, like they suck out my IQ or something. is there hope?

Good Leg Workout?

Does anyone know of a good leg exercise? Ever since I stopped taking gym classes, my legs have gotten out of shape. Would you know a good one for both weight loss and to get them back into semi-shape? Esp. for someone with not a lot of time or space?
