ok I'm the one who liked a 6th grader well last nigt I found out that he got a new girl-friend and I liked him alot so what do I do?
Plus what's the sence in likeing someone if you know they're not going to like you? PLEASE HELP!

I've been trying to convince my parents to get me a cell phone forever. I've tried the "everybody has one" method and the "reasons I need one" method but they wont crack. How do I convince them to let me get one? I have my reasons(good ones too) for needing one.

I have been beging for an earing for about 3 years now. im 14 and in 8th grade i reall really want it but there is just no way that i can convince my parents i dont know what to do please someone help me in ways to convince them ive tried school grades are good chores for free and even going shopping for them once in awhile i dont know what to do anymore.....

there's this boy... let's call him.... Jimmy. i have a boyfriend named Bob the Tomato. Jimmy and i are very close and he thinks of me as his little sister. but lately i can't stop thinking about him. my friend says i blush every time he talks to me and when i'm in his presence, and even when i'm talking with Bob the Tomato i can't stop thinking about him. Jimmy has a girlfriend who he seems to love very much even though they will be soon pursuing a long distance relationship due to her new location. i feel terrible that Jimmy, who entrusts me and expects the same, can't know who i think i really do love. how do i stop loving him? how can i make this go away?

I noticed recently that you have added options in the search for age and gender. Do you have to read each question and add that to the search? Wouldn't it make it easier if in the "Ask a question" section there were optional drop down boxes for gender and age like there is for category? Maybe a section for columnist name could be added since columnists ask questions then assume we know who they are.

Okay , please state your age (12-16 ) and what you think of girls .
Are you still at that stage where you think girls have cooties and avoid them at all costs ? If not , do you have a rating system or something ? What do you look for in a girl ? Do you prefer a girl asking you out , or would you rather ask a girl out ? What would you think of a girl thats shorter than you by around 9 inches , if you were 5'11 ?

i broke up with my boyfriend because we werent acting like boyfriend and girlfriend... like whats the point of going out with someone if you act like more that friends when you are just friends and when we are more than friends we act like nothing! i still like him but i know we are better off being friends! what should i do?!?!?!?HELP!!!!!!!

Sharing a bill

Hi, my name is Faith. Not my real name because I'm wary of that on the web. However I need some advice on how to bring a subject up to my brothers without causing anyone to be mad at me and my husband. My husband and I own our own home and for years have been sharing our water tap with my brothers who live next to us. We would now like them to have their own water taps because none of us should be paying a penny more than our own usage. We all have several children, we have a pool and one brother has a smaller pool for his children (not a kiddie pool). Our feeling is the only way to be fair is for everyone to have their own. Piano teacher

I play the piano, and at the moment I'm supposed to be working towards my Grade 7. The problem is, though, that my piano teacher hasn't given me the music yet - he only gives it me a couple of months before the exam and so I've never got more thatn a merit in any of the Grades so far. I know that if he gives me enough time to do my pieces, I can maybe get a distinction, or at least come close. I have a friend with a different piano teacher, and say she's working towards Grade 6, he'll give her Grade 7 music even before she's done her Grade 6. I don't get why my teacher does things differently because I know I can get better marks if I have the pieces for longer! What should I do?
