can anyone give me pointers on how to make one of those? the tutorial in the "daring book for girls" did not really help. peach pit rings!! :D (link)

dry the peach pit 1-2 days.
get a large Rasp- - like a big file only heavier metal. rub the pit back and forth (watch your fingers) over and over and then turn it over and keep rubbing. may take a while.
then smooth the sides. Once you've worn away enough, you will find there is a round pit inside the large pit. take it out, and then you have a space to put your finger.
