I am doing a speech for 4-H so it has to be good. I said one last year and went to state. So Whats some topics I could write About. I wrote about Global Warming Last year So...... It has to be 3-5 minutes long. So Whats something I can talk about???? Thanks ALL 5's!!
The topic is supposed to be about the economy, or...?
The topic of diseases would be good, I think. You could write like the causes of many diseases, (the ones that do not have cures) and how many people are affected by them and all.
The topic of teenagers would be good. That would give a lot to talk about. You could talk about anything with them - the stress of friends, school, peer pressure, etc. Talking about peers would be indeed, a long enough speech if you make it juicy enough...
If the topic could be about politics, you could write about the debates going between all parties on which the U.S. is doing now - they're all saying that President Bush shouldn't be president, you could write a speech containing facts between that. I don't know if you can do politics, or even if that one's a good idea because it might nerve wreck the judges, or teacher, or whoever is listening to it...
You could do a topic about the war in Iraq - I think that's a hot shot, because so many people are intereted in it. But then again, you have to try to get all facts and no opinions, so I don't know if that ones a good one either...
It all depends on your view of the world, and what the speech is required of. Can the speech be of anything? If it can be topic related to anything, you could do something that was totally you, but not so you that it is all opinions, and no facts. Most speeches contain opinions and facts, make sure you have facts as well as opinions. I hope you do well! :-D
On Xanga especially.. people have those Icons they use in their blogs. I know some people make them.. but what are some sites where i can get them?
