Lately my school has been talking to us about abortion. They think it's wrong and I'm not sure about it. I'm NOT pregnant, but there are girls in my school who are and each of them has said they wish they would have had an abortion. I think it's wrong, but it could also be for the best if one was to have an abortion.
Please voice your opinions on abortion. I would love to hear everything you have to say about it. (link)

I am a Christian and I go to a Christian College. I am currently enrolled in a class called Human Sexuality at my college which teaches the Christian way I am also an American though. I personally do not believe in abortion, but I am not going to oppose God's will for something I am not sure what his will is. For one it says nothing about abortion in the Bible, for those of you that think this you are sadly mistaken, sure we as Christians can assume what God wants but unless he comes right out and states it, it becomes only up to our interpretation. Another thing, there might be some people out there that believe that sex should just be used to procreate. Sure this is a valid reason to have sex but it is not the only reason. What about people that can't have children because of a genetic thing or a medical thing? Are these people less than human b/c they can't have kids? The clitoris has only one function and that is for pleasure, why would God create something if it wasn't meant to be. God wants us to have sexual pleasure. Of course God wants it to be in marriage. Another thing I don't understand, why so many kids with no experience in the matter answered this. I know I have none but some of these answers were wrong and outrageous. Yes you are entitled to your opinion, but when that contains information you don't back up with facts then you probably shouldn't state them as facts. Now I am almost done. Our country is made up of many different religions and when Christians start imposing their moral beliefs on an issue such as abortion then we go against the freedoms that our country has that no other one has. You have a right to get out of our country if you wish. Many young women make stupid decisions, but many don't make the decision to be raped or even worse to have incest relations. Are we saying that is God's will? I would hope not. You make your choices and I will make mine. God will judge you in the end, but in the meantime don't pretend you are God and think you know the answers when clearly some of you are not mature enough to discuss this topic. God gives us free choice and people will make mistakes all the time. If you are so high and mighty about this issue then please lets talk about your sins and stop judging others before you can walk in their shoes. God walks in our shoes everyday and he should be the only one that should judge. Also it is a shame that your school takes the stance they do. They should give you facts from both sides of the issue and let you make a decision about what you wish is best in your life.
P.S.
I was adopted, but putting a child up for adoption is not an easy task. So don't just throw out that option like it is an easy one.
