Ya this happens all the time and i hate it.. omg.. maybe you and this guy need a long break so that you both can really see how much you like each other.. or maybe its not meant to be.. but you think it is. aww thats soo sweet..really best friends end up marrying each other and maybe he is the best boyfriend for you but there is so many other people that like you.. and they are just hiding it.
