Well this Chrismas I'm gonna see if I can get a guitar to teach myself how to play one. But one thing is I don't know how to play it all and dunno how to hold it, like if your a righty does the long part lay on ur left hand? Another thing is my parents won't let me get one unless I know how to play one but I don't have one! Well my dad has one of those mexican guitars but I wanna learn using one of those rocker ones which brings to: do you first need learn the basics of playing a guiar using a mexican one or can you learn if you use a rocker one to teach yourself with. Lastly if I do get a rocker one does anyone which kind/brand would be good to practice with and where to get it? (places like walmart,best buy, only ones I know that I saw had guitars.)

yes it is possible to teach yourself guitar and it does not matter what hand you are...the neck of the guitar goes in your left hand and the base on your lap...use the acoustic(mexican) guitar first to get your fingers to callouse or you will have discomfort playing an electric guitar...and a gibson is a good choice but expensive

I am an extremely messy eater. I slurp and chew loudly, and will eat applesauce and pie with my fingers. I don't do it on purpose, I just sort of put my fingers in there and eat. I never really learned table manners. Until I was like five, my older sister and her friend AND my mom treated me like a little helpless baby. I never really learned anything on my own. People always did things for me when I was little. Any help to become a well-mannered eater. I just hate eating, I just wish sometimes that I could take a pill that would supply me with all my vitamins and calories and stuff. I just want to hurry up and get back to what I was doing before.

haha well i am the same way...i will eat like that sometimes...but just make sure just close your mouth when chewing...and just slow down...slurping and chewing both come from quick eaters

My 12 year old sister wants something with AOL Instant Messager but my mom won't get her a sidekick or anything that's a cell phone. Is there any devise where she can go on AIM even away from home?

almost every phone on the market these days comes with an insatnt messaging capability. u just have to pay the texting fees that apply

for a scholarship essay i have to answer the following question:

"Describe a creative endeavor you have been involved with and provide details about your contribution."

I really don't know what this means.. if anyone can give any good examples or try to explain it to me, that would be so helpful. Thanks!

well... by creative endeavor it means any time you have made an effort to reach a goal by using creativity

an example could be if were in any type newspaper or advertising group then you were able to contribute by expressing your ideas in a creative way
