14/f. I walk fast on the treadmill 5-6 times a week for 45 minutes. then I do some arm and leg weights, and then I do trunk twists to get rid of my love handles. My legs are nice and toned and I'm happy with them, but my stomach is a disaster! I've been working out like this for a few weeks now and I can't get it to shrink! I want a flat stomach, but when I sit down you can seriously take 5 or 6 handfuls of my stomach fat. I don't know what to do. I do crunches on a fitness ball as well, but NOTHINGS WORKING! Im going to Florida in 6 weeks and I really just want to be skinny! I'm done being chubby and not fitting into clothes. i want a flat stomach and overall great body. but this stomach won't budge. I eat special k every day for breakfast, some fruit and a special k snack bar for lunch, and for dinner i have pasta or chicken or something with a salad. HELP (link)
like everyone is telling you there is no such thing as spot reduction when it comes to fat. You need to lower your calorie intake and/or do aerobic exercise for at least 30 minutes. I had the same problem and went on the Kimkins low carb diet. Any of the low carb diets will do. I chose kimkins.com because it was the least expensive and most extreme for rapid weight loss. I REALLY REALLY need some guidance and I've asked a lot of people for help but NO ONE helps me. They just think I need to eat bc I'm so skinny. But what I'm going through is a disaster. I was diagnosed with anorexia. I was eating 600 calories a day and I was very, very obsessive. I almost died.I had been doing that for about a year. If I would have kept it up for 2 more weeks, I would have lost my life!! I already lost my period and every week I have to go to the gyno until I get it back because since I haven't gotten it, my ovaries are full of cysts and I may have to get surgery. But, now I've gotten a lot better. But, as far as the eating disorder, things are pretty bad. I go thru phases where I binge one day and eat uncontrollably and when I ruin my diet for the day, I go crazy and tell myself to eat everything in sight and the next day I punish myself by not eating at all the entire day. It is a terrible habit but its the hardest cycle to break. There has to be something someone can say or do to help me. I will be going to therapy, but financially, I'm a little restricted right now so its not gonna be as soon as now, and NOW is when I need it. I feel like if I keep this up, I'm going to die. I'm treading a thin line right now, and someone just needs to tell me something. I want to stop this more than you can ever imagine, but its such a hard cycle to break and only someone who has actually had an eating disorder can understand. So if you can tell me anything at all to get me through the day, I will appreciate it. You could be saving my life!! I've already had 3 giant cookies and a sandwich today and I feel like crying!! Its like I have no control of myself and I hate feeling this way... I know I shouldn't skip meals or anything like that, but I'm at a hotel and my cousin just ordered a cheeseburger, and its like I want some and at the same time I don't and its like the food just won't digest and I get anxious because I'm full and then I eat more.
