I have been good friends with this guy for 5 years and had a "crush" on him for 2. I have been rather forward with him, smiling at him (not something I usually do), talking to him whenever I can, giving him treats I made myself, that sort of thing. Recently,

it kind of depends, if he continues to flirt with you, you're pretty safe thinking he might like you. but if he just flirted with you once and after doesn't give you the time of day, then you should just move on.
