My ex (we broke up about 7 months ago) texted me to today for the first time in a looong time. He started with small talk, but then asked me if I would like to get coffee as friends sometime. I don't want to at all, because I'm completely done with that part of my life and he's not the kind of person I would like to spend time with. How do I tell him I don't want to get coffee without being rude? Is simply saying "I'm not comfortable with that" too harsh? He's an easily upset guy. (link)
