Well. I'm Abra. It's pronounced with a long 'a' like Abraham. I'm 14 in the 8th grade. I love to sing, dance, act, and write poems/songs. And of course I like to help people. If someone has a problem I try to help as best as I know how. I may not have all the answers but I'm here to help. I'm strong, opinionated, sensitive, funny, and I love the company of nice people. Look foward to helping you guys out.

well. if you feel like you need to loose weight then maybe you should cut down on the carbs and the sweets. exercise is good too. but don't let it get to the unhealthy stage where you loose too much weight and form an eating disorder. but if you feel like it gets to the point where you are feeling really insecure about yourself...maybe you should go talk to your school counselor. i'm sure he/she can give you some good tips. but trust me...you aren't fat.

A lot of my friends are very religious, and thus have many different beliefs (religiously, politically, and otherwise) than I do. Lets just say I cried on November 3rd last year (the day after), and they pretty much jumped for joy. Sometimes when I make a comment about issues that are happening in the world they look at me oddly, like I'm a complete idiot or something. They enjoy listening to Ashlee Simpson and the like while I listen to classic rock from the 60's and 70's. In the past this hasn't bothered me much, but lately its been nagging at me a lot. Don't get me wrong. I love my friends to bits, they're the nicest people and so fun to be around, but is it possible to love them as people and completely disregard how different their mentality is from you? Do your beliefs and interests dictate who you are as a person?

It's ok to have friends who are different from you. I myself have a friend who is very different from me. But we still are best friends. You shouldn't let your differences get in the way of your friendship. If they can't accept you for who you are, then maybe they aren't the best friends to have. I hope I helped. And remeber, being different is good.
