Me and this guy definitely like each other.
He just got out of a year+ relationship so he doesn't want to go out with me. He doesn't want others, or me, to think that I'm just a rebound.

You need to clairfy with this guy that your not just here to mess with. You actually want to be his girlfriend. Basically what he is thinking in him mind is: " heyy if she is going to do stuff with me without being my girlfriend then why would i ask her out. He wants to be able to do stuff with you yett he doesnt want girls to think he is taken you know? Trust me i have been in this type of situation and i finally told the guy look im not doing this! you either want me as your girlfriend or you cant have me at all..
so just sit down and talk to him.. its the best thing to do in this situation..

When you love someone, its like you really care about them and you would be really hurt if something ever happened to them. You love them as like a part of your family, or a close friend that you have had all your life.
Being in love with someone is when you can barely live a day without them and you would do anything for them. More of like a romantic relationship.

ok so heres the deal,
