i was very unhealthy throughout october, and i didnt notice much weight gain. Now, for the last week or two, I've started to be much healthier, began to exercise and alter my diet. Suddenly, I see weight coming on. Why would this be if i didnt see any weight gain till now? (link)

It may be that you are gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat does, therefore your weight probably isn't directly tied to your level of health and fitness. As long as you continue feeling good, exersizing and eating right, you should be fine.
