Anyone know why cotton was called King of the south? Like in great dept, i search for it but i can't seem to find a answer in dept. And yes i know it is because it alot of money to the south and they called it white gold. (link)
it was the king of the south because it ruled the economy of the region

so i'm basically seeing the same blanket, but the only difference is that one is 1680, and the other is 1200, what does it mean? Does it mean the blanket is warmer?
Well I live in Ohio and I'm looking for a horse blanket that will be able to keep the horse warm in -10-20 for the winter.

any suggestions?

and how to you measure a horse for a blanket?

1200-

The 1680 one has more nylon threads, so yes it will be warmer.
