Im sorry, this might turn out sort of long and it probably should have gone under the love catagory. Im fourteen, female, a freshman in highschool.
Anywho, I have chronic fatigue syndrome and maybe mild social anxiety or something of the like and Im just starting to get over it so Ive been homebound for the past three months.
And theres this guy. We talk pretty often, on the computer and the telephone and whatnot. It was only the night before last [todays the twentyfourth] that we both confessed to liking each other. Hes moving further up state come the end of summer. But I really want to actually GO OUT, you know? Im not sure if he thinks were a couple or not. Itd be hard especially because we dont see each other much. I tried to check his details on myspace, but he hid them. Id feel like a fool for asking him. I just really dont know what to do. And when we do talk, conversation is kind of awkward I guess because...I dont know. GAHHH
Sorry, its long enough. Haha. (link)

you are 14, go out. don't take one boyfriend. take friends. go out with different guys (in a group, your 14). enjoy being 14, have fun in life and don't take everything so seriously. highschool is so much fun. join clubs, join sport teams, take part in highschool events. really have fun. enjoy 14,15,16,17 and so on. turn off your computer and myspace, start living, start going out (in groups, your 14), make friends. invite people over to watch movies, to play board games or what ever. go shopping, make a date to go out to eat with your friends.
a boyfriend will come, but he takes time and energy. he will be there for a few weeks or months and then be gone, your friends you will have much longer than that.
enjoy 14.

i'm currently a us citizen and i am thinking of attending college in greece at the american university of athens. would i have to become a greek citizen to stay there? what about taxes and stuff lke that? and what about my driver's license? and if you can think of any other related questions it would really help a lot! :] (link)

your best bet to is ask the school, they are really used to foreign students. do not ask them if you have to become a citizen. you don't, people work and live in greece and are not changing their citizenship. (this is not a college level question). taxes-are you looking for a job or for education (you pay normal consumers tax, but not a income tax)? drivers license-are you bringing your car with (no, the answer to this question is no). good questions:
where can you live, can you take classes in english, which classes do they offer, how long can you stay, how long does it take (on average) to get a student visa, what is the cost of living, is the local transportation good, how do you get in (what are the requirments). i went to school in europe aswell.
When in rome, do as the romans. (try the food, learn the language, appricate the fact that the single buildings are older than the whole of america)

this is in response the super smart answer of muscle weights more than fat....umm....5 pounds is 5 pounds...a ton of feathers weights just as much as a ton of metal.
the difference is... put 5 pounds of really soft butter on the table next to 5 pounds of meat. the meat is an example of your muscle, the really soft butter is your fat. they are both 5 pounds but the are formed different.
running will help you loose weight due to the fact that muscle burns your fat when in use or when being formed. when using this fact simple work outs will do that. its also important to do this for longer than 45 minutes. the average body has a quick supply of energy, when you pass that supply you start working on your reserve (also known as your fat). some people are working on fat after 1 hour others after 20 minutes. the general average is 45 minutes. also it helps to do more, the walk to the bathroom down the hall or walking up the stairs is great, but after time your body will be used to it, you need to always do more and do different things. if you go to the gym 5 days a week do something different each day.
most important, you did not gain your weight in 1 week, your not going to loose it that fast either!
